Certainly! Absolutely! I remember that vivid moment from 2021 when I saw an interview featuring Jensen Ackles discussing his interactions with passionate fans. Intrigued by the subject, I delved into some research and stumbled upon a unique fan community called Radiant Reservation.

Agreed. While I do think Dean’s ending was a bit anticlimactic dying at the hands of a vampire, I think there’s so much more opportunity to explore what they do in Heaven and then back on Earth, etc. #BringBackSupernatural

Supernatural is one of my all time favourite shows but I agree, it should be left to lie, as much as I miss Dean & Sam. I’d love to see Jared & Jensen do a re-make of something like Lonesome Dove.

Just chiming in to say I'm so relieved to see so many other fans be anti-reboot. I felt like a traitor for being horrified at the mere possibility. It was a brilliant if flawed show, really lightning in a bottle, and yes I miss the boys too, but it really is time to let it rest now. The finale had its problems, but just imagine how a reboot will ruin that moving reunion scene and the extra-diegetic bit on the bridge. And didn't Jensen talk publicly about his struggle to come to terms with the finale, even calling Kripke, and then came around to loving it so much that he said he'd be mad if they even tried a season 16? Maybe sometimes things should follow Billie's rules and simply stay dead in SPN. #supernaturalreboot #spnreboot #spnseason16
Why be horrified at the possibility though? Honestly the more content we get the better in my opinion. It really is hard to let go and the actors clearly have a hard time too, I think they've always made it clear that it wasn't even meant to be a full closing on the show, just that they're putting it on the shelf for a bit. Pretty sure they both said that right from the start of the end that it wasn't a goodbye but rather a see you later. Honestly if the writing is good, which it could be we'll never know, then it would be fantastic to bring it back. Again this is my opinion and I totally respect yours!
Please stooooppppp there should not be any reboot. Gawd I wish these actors would move on. they are talented they should be out there doing interesting projects not redoing an old story that the writers ruined in season 15 by making god responsible for everything the boys did instead of free will which Kripke's story told. Jensen started to move on and its exciting but he gets pulled back in. And Jared is falling into that pit as well
It was clear since Eric Kripke was on the show that Chuck was God. The episodes where he was a supposed prophet and writing Sam and Dean's story was too vivid for a prophet and Chuck saying that what he thinks comes true instead of him getting messages from God. Not to mention the episode of Chuck is called "The monster at the end of this book" which is the title of a children's book that teases the reader about a monster hidden in plain sight. With that said it makes sense that God was Chuck and he was the last monster to defeat at the end of the supernatural book. Also of course God was responsible. God created everything. He had a plan for the apocalypse. The whole Supernatural storyline dropped hints.
I'm with you there, the whole narrative is driven by the fans wanting a different outcome.
The writers should never have pandered to the fans 'febrile' imaginations and leaned into where their imagination was taking them, they then wrote accordingly, totally spoiling the show. Cas was an all powerful angel look at what he was reduced to. an innocent abroad.....I mean really.
The boys having no stability, no real female interaction as the 'fans' were jealous of the women and gave the actresses hell. Look how useful and more realistic it would have been to have Jo and her mother as a fall back and safe haven for the boys during their escapades or even the psychic; Pamela or Missouri!
There was enough lore to keep the story-lines strong and even to explore a particular episode further w/o trying to wrap things up in a single episode.
They missed the best parts of SPN and I think they should leave it at that. Reboots never work and we all know why the fans want that reboot, well, good for them. But it won't serve the rest of us well. And yes Jensen has moved on and during Cons with the predictability of the questions asked, he will acknowledge the question and answer accordingly....its what the fans want and expect after all, but for me and I suspect him, he should not entertain it.
I think it's clear they're never gonna move on. There are so many shows that have gone on for decades so it's not crazy to think that this one could too, and many fans are wanting more as do clearly the cast. As long as the writing is good, why not? And don't say the writing was bad the last few seasons - it really wasn't bad. Not to mention, I'm pretty sure they even said from the start of the ending that it wasn't a goodbye, rather a see you later. I think they always had plans of bringing it back, just that they were gonna take a good long break before doing so.
They love it. It means something to them. Maybe you should stop worrying about what the actors are doing with their own lives. They are the ones that get to live it and nobody said you had to keep watching the show 🤣

What are you a mid 40’s to 50’s woman who loved Jensen’s brief recurring roles in the soap opera days of our lives or was it his 1 season in Dawson’s Creek??
& especially if you’re a huge fan of Jared’s than what do you like him for besides supernatural? The Walker Texas ranger remake 😂🤣?? So an unoriginal character that’s ripped off form another 80’s or 90’s show (like so much of the other junk on TV) is better than an original character that amassed a huge following in popular show that lasted 15 seasons?
If It wasn’t for supernatural Jared & Jensen might’ve been retired from acting or stuck doing nothing but small guest roles like they did before supernatural.

It’s literally a show about monsters, demons, malevolent spirits, etc… what were you expecting in a show w/ that title & type of content?? A live action version of Scooby doo? or maybe you thought it was gonna be a dudes version of charmed. If you actually watched all 15 seasons the show it had TON’s of humor. Plus the overarching themes were Love, family, friendship, & dedication/commitment to those things. They just didn’t sugarcoat it & make very single plot or character have the perfect ending. But that’s indicative of life. Not everyone in life gets the fake happily ever after when their story or life ends.
