My music teacher showed me this when I was 13 years old in middle school. I thought this was lame and weird. I’m 22 now and I’m realizing this was really a phenomenal song. The Drums are so underrated. EDIT: just found out my music teacher from middle school died of cancer. God bless you Mr.Letso.

I'm a 54 year old guy. My brother (a few years younger) both love 80s stuff; Smiths, English Beat, various other stuff. I discovered The Drums on youtube and turned my brother on to them. On Thanksgiving a few years ago, I arrived at my sisters house, walked into her living room, and sang to my brother, "you're my best friend, but then you died...". my brother (a 300 lb. guy) stood up and did the Jonathan dance from this video. I laughed my ass off.

I lost my best friend, he's not died, just the life made us to take different paths, it's amazing, sad and different how this song hit before and after, in fact he introduced to me this group and this song several years ago. Due to recent shows in a bunch of South American countries, The Drums latinamerican fanbase has increased. I saw them in Peru in October last year and comparing their performance there with a lot of other videos i've seen, i can say they seem to enjoy playing for us much more than they do in the US

Los temas que tenían en esos tiempos creo que fueron los mejores de la banda, actualmente no tiene malos temas pero el toque pegajoso que tenían antes creo que eran mejores. recuerdo cuando los conocí cuando había un comercial de MTV "Los nuevos y mejores artistas del mundo" y salían 2 temas de ellos, surfing y forever, cuando los oí por primera vez me exploto la cabeza ya que fue demasiado genial para mi esas dos canciones.

Been Listening to their music for a solid year and seriously didn't know this song had a music video, never showed up when I searched it up.
