The best thing about all your reactions is how many Americans are discovering the brilliance of symphonic metal. Epica, Delain, Nightwish, and others provide such great music. I am in my 60's and have see then all many times. They are great live. All groups are European which shows that great music around the Globe

So happy that you guys are giving the Symphonic Rock genre so much time. I found the genre by accident when listening to Pandora and typing in Lacuna Coil, whom I love. They played Within Temptation, Epica, Nightwish so many more on that channel and I fell in love with all of them. Thanks for bringing the genre to so many people here in the US. I just wish these bands would be given a chance to tour here more often, and not just at a club. I would love to see the shows that they put on in Europe.
This is the last song of the latest album and I think it works really well as a finishing song as it, in my opinion, summarizes everything this album consists of and I just love the way they mixed vocals and instruments. Great thanks to Joost as the producer. Does this entice you to go to one of their concerts once all of those restriction are gone? :-) There will be a new album too in a few months.
Epica has truly some amazing pieces of music if you have a good ear to listen. I played this song to a couple of douches who asked what music I was into. They disliked it and I was like, "Do you even know what's going on here, musically? Guess not. All the better for me to appreciate. :)

u guy's can check another symphonic metal - death metal band called MAYAN made by mark jansen of epica & jack from after forever & it's a very heavy band members of epica are most of them in it & their first album called quarterpast & their second album called ANTAGONISE & yeah plus floor jansen sings on the first album as well & simone simons of epica
