I'm still around mate...and I'm 67 and retired Skinhead from 1969/70 but once a Skinhead always a Skinhead inside....some of these clowns today make me sick and would love to bring back the Skinheads just sorting them out!!.we were the most feared subculture ever 😮😮 Still love the music from them times...Soul music and Reggae music 🎵 🎶 But I respect and salute you even though we probably support different teams your a fellow Skinhead and in that we're all one no matter what team you support 😮 For my sins I'm a Spurs fan and if you come from Chelsea I guess you're a Chelsea fan... Remember the old Shed Enders? and the park lane boot boys? ....two sides of the same coin 🪙 After becoming a Skinhead, I was a boot boy and then a suedehead, oh yes I had mates that supported Chelsea as well 😮😊
I miss the youth cultures of the late 70's / 80's, Mod, punk, skin, Ted, i liked bit of everything then plus other music like XTC , talking heads, the Cures early stuff as in 3 imaginary boys LP period, i got into Mod in a big way but eventually just dressed how i wanted too while still listening to the sounds of the time, great memories of going down Carnaby street & to gigs, saw The Jam, Clash, Ramones, first P.I.L. gigs, Redskins, Secret Affair, XTC, Banshees,,great times
