People who do this should be ordered to pay back every penny. Plus the cost of the investigation. If any work has to be done to the property. Cost to remove any illegal tenants. No more how long it would take. Also the debt can't be wiped out by bankruptcy or anything else. Prison doesn't really work. But hitting people in there pocket book might. Housing councils also need to investigate the people getting these homes. Check they don't own other properties. See if they own a business. Check bank accounts. Get prof of income.

That council house in the village in Worcester is one of the most beautiful social houses I’ve ever seen! It’s makes you wonder why other councils make such ugly looking homes? Even now where I live, new social housing is being built- which is good given the great need for it - but I’ve never seen such unattractive looking houses. Thrown up quickly, causing those who’ve already moved in to some a never ending list of considerable issues, but also again ‘marking’ them as ‘council houses’. Even today, in early 2023, some people, particularly kids, who we all know can be cruel, pick on and mock people who live on and in council areas.

Not only that, but they also said her father's dad had lived there, then her father, yet at the beginning of the program they mentioned that people who grew up there can't afford to buy a property there so there's need for council properties. So in essence, they had a family for at least 3 generations living there, the 3rd being a single mum who I'm guessing was bought up in that house, then they kick her out, to house someone who 'needs it and deserves it' whilst the single mum will probably go back into the system to find another house in the same area. The hugs and the tears at the end were pathetic. "Yay I'm crying tears of joy because we've made a single mother and children homeless, so we can find a single homeless mum and children a home, yay, go us!"
