Three tips for you:
1-Select the trade you want press shift to get all of you can in a stack then press enter, it will replace the not enough one with the enough one that you have
2-If you don't like that an enchantment books enchantments put them in the grinder to get a normal book and some exp
3-One of the best ways to get emeralds is trading 10(9 if you traded enough) clay for an emerald with a mason villager(You need a stonecutter to get one)

A quick building tip strip some oak logs and place them randomly in the floor of the base to give it a nice texture

When I exchanged it with a resident, I found out when I watched other Mark CZcams videos. It's good to shift at once when exchanging with residents, but in order to exchange it a little faster, if you select the item you want to exchange and press the space bar, it's faster than the one you exchanged on drag while shifting. But I don't know if it's helpful for asmr. It's good to earn emerald from other residents, but the disadvantage is that you have to dig a lot of trees if you build an arrow workstation and give residents a job, but it's still different from other residents who had other jobs. You exchange it for a wooden stick, but you get 16 for each exchange, and you can change it twice in total. I recommend you to try it later.
