1:13 "Deetlemores" sure hasn't been given proper attention in this one. It's a dream Vinny had where the word "details" was spelled "deetleless" which would imply that there are even more detailed details called "deetlemores".

Heyo, Editor Pier here. I know I've left out a lot of amazing words here, it's tricky to find them when there's thousands of streams to dig through. This was basically a test to see if this kind of video would work with y'all and if us editors can pull this off. You know, its part of a doctorate that someone has to actually add something new to the scientific field they study in. Vinny is so smart, he doesn't need a doctorate and still added dozens of words to the english language, expanding the field of linguistics for centuries to come.
Or at least that is what I am gonna tell myself when I am 80 years old and I choke at the dinner table, proclaiming to my 7 great grandchildren that I just had a Penuts in my Thrussy
Don't worry about this, Vinny just reached such a level of his English major, he's able to reinvent the English language into a new era of its development: the era of the Vinish language.

English major myself, I can confirm that you learn how to properly structure sentences and articulate on paper, but at the cost of making up your own words when speaking, and occasionally forgetting how to actually speak in a matter that isn't nonsensical once you've passed the class(es).

When your that good at English, you can just make up your own words. The majority of the English language was written by several monkeys in different rooms at the same time, all of which spoke different languages anyways, so honestly, Vinny is following in the footsteps of the greats.

I've used Shotgun in a similar context, 0:38 but differently used. My meaning is when objects or people use excessive speed and/or force than really neccesary to accomplish something. Like your brute forcing with a shotgun something that can be handled with much more grace.
Examples:
"I tried to keep the door open for you by pushing it back open as I went thru. But this door man, after like 2 seconds it like shotguns closed."
"I didnt mean to shotgun that card off the table; let me get you another card."
"Can you slow down man? You just shotgunned over that speedbump!"
Shit like that.
More about "deetlemores" for the maybe two people that might be interested: Vinny talked about having a dream in which the word "details" was spelled "deetless" or something like that and he was like "what if there were deetleMORES" and he thus invented a new word. I'm pretty sure he first mentioned that in one of the first few Animal Crossing New Horizons streams but I could be wrong.
Now show this to an English teacher and have them extract a hidden meaning.
