I've often felt that the parts of the human brain we don't actively use are meant for the kind of communication you are talking about here. We have either forgotten or haven't tapped into how to use it yet. Wishing you a peaceful continued recovery, Colette!

How true. When I had Covid a couple months ago we also had an especially beautiful day coincide with my recovering so I brought a chair out to read under a tree next to my pond and found that the book held less interest than just sitting outside and taking it all in. As I was bare-footed and on a grassy bit I placed my feet both flat on the ground and concentrated on being a conduit for the energy in the earth and among the nearby trees. I felt it. It was spiritually, and thus health, uplifting!! Glad you are on the recovery path now. Please allow yourself to take it slower and easier than you want to just in case. The silver lining to an illness is quiet time❤️❤️❤️
Added edit: the more I think about it the more I think the trees were telling me to put the book down and plant my feet to the ground so they could transfer/give some of their healing energy my way. A lightening strike on the ground can transfer to nearby pedestrians so why not energy from trees? We know they communicate and share among one another. Now when I see one of my trees ailing I'm going to reciprocate some of that same energy back to them in the same way! Thanks Collette for prompting this "aha" moment for me!!!

Would then lie down and sleep for a few hours. I am so glad you are feeling better. Take care . Blessings

    Hi My friends..
I say hi friends to incorporate the trees.. the flowers.. the bees the grasses.. the soil. This is a funny thing you speak of today, as I was just watching some teachings on something called non/violent communication. Although it was for humans, I think there’s a good lesson in there for ALL of the “ other world”❤️. I learned some very lovely lessons on how to speak to someone( or peoples) in a much more ❤️effective way.
    Oh Collette..
    May I say..
Please don’t ever stop being here on this wee channel. I love you and your rants, and your visions and your innate sense of Mother Earth . Your life there at BC.
You are making through this illness quite well. I had it in Sept. I was in hospital 2 weeks(!) with no fresh air.. no one to see me, And I am a VERY healthy gal. Many stories like mine as I understand?
    Healthy people getting it hard.
There was One window fir me to look out everyday and I watched a blowing tree. I also watched walking tour videos of many different countries with green country sides.. flowing rivers, beautiful European architecture and my favorite…. CASTLES.
Including Ireland. I HAD to use my mind to help myself. It’s a fickle thing and although mine was long and rough, I made a complete recovery at 68.
The beach sounds great. Do you feel like filming a tiny bit of scenery? No worries though, just take you walk and breath in your health. I know you have a great mind for healing yourself.
Blessings to you as well dear Collette.

Walking along the beach... My father died almost four years ago. His services were the day before we had our yearly beach week scheduled. As we were traveling five hours from home, I felt terrible. There were tears and sometimes I felt I couldn't breathe. The following day, I took a long walk along the shore by myself. Something happened there, like a peace coming over me. Of course, I still miss my Dad, but the worst of the pain went away that day. So, Colette, I have to agree with you that nature has healing properties. I'm happy for you that you are recovering quickly! Take care!

I'm texting again lol But after I divorced my husband of 30year I rented a cottage on the beach in Lincoln city Oregon. It was an amazing month. I walked on the beach daily. I met an older woman in the laundromat who's Dr.had sent her there because she was dying. She was off oxygen and bouncing around as good as I was. The clean, ionized salt air is amazing. I have salt lamps in every room now.

Oh Colette, sorry to hear that you have been feeling poorly. But it's good to know that you are on the upswing again. Reading a book last night I came upon this poem and immediately thought of you and your woodland.
It's called Gifts from the Wildwood by Archibald Rutledge.
I know not how to capture
    This fragrant wildwood's rapture,
    The magic of these dells
    Where silent beauty dwells,
    Where noble strength and power
In oak and pine tree tower.
But when from these I come,
    I hope to carry home
    Some spirit not yet had
To keep me strong and glad,
    Something from oak and pine
    To be forever mine;
When from these woods I part,
    Some wildflower in my heart

Colette - as always making perfect simple sense ❤️Our whole family had covid a couple of months back , It was hard going for the adults for around a week and a couple of days for the children . But I firmly believe that our ability to recover so well was down to healing food and medicine and how much time we spent in our own garden under the sky (and the sun when it was out) Also hands in soil means lots of microbial diversity which is our natural state . After all we are part of Nature - and removing humans from Nature has such a detrimental effect on not just physical health but mental and emotional too . You are such an inspiration Colette. Thank you for your timeless wisdom and please pass on my gratitude to the plant beings in your garden (and the birds , frogs and more !) who bring us all so much joy and encouragement for the spaces we have stewardship of 🙏

Glad to see you are feeling better from Covid. I'm new to your channel but already you are an inspiration to me , even though I have a 20metre by 2 metre corridor of concrete in the inner city , I am going to plant what I can and fill it with plants. Such a comfort to me to know this is happening in the world. Thank you xxx

I live on 10 acres, the views out of my windows are of my property, and also out further over my neighbours beautiful rolling fields dotted with eucalyptus and cows. There is a curving stream and native bush. Everything is so green right now. It is winter here, soon to be spring. Spring is my favourite time, there is definitely a smell to spring. Soon I will be planting more trees, mainly bottle brush, as the tuis love them and they are such a delight to watch. My house is small and ordinary, however it is the scenery and the pleasure it brings that keeps me here. I am grateful for it. I also noted your nz flax. 🙂

Nature is so healing - my family have been ill also all week and I have only been out in our garden a few times (mainly because it is winter here and so when you have the virus - best not to go out into the cold too much!!). I love the greenery around your little cottage - it made my heart sing!!
I agree with the communication aspect - I'm know as the crazy lady who talks to the trees, plants and insects..hahha, but it is a great feeling when you do communicate with them.
Sending you 300 billion healing blessings Colette :)

You are really the quintessential teacher who just can’t help yourself even when you’re sick you turn it into a teaching moment. 🧐🙂 It’s inspiring to see someone walking ththeir path as you do. When it comes to communicating with Trees or nature it has become my understanding that it is simply like learning a different language. This particular language doesn’t get run through the same hardware, as it were, as speech, This type of communication has to be through the heart because it is a feeling form of communication that can come through sensing and seeing ( in the minds eye ) rather than hearing with our ears. Once experienced it really is quite exhilarating because there is so much to learn and enormous expansion into other realms. All good stuff. 🌸🍀🌲

Blessings to you dear Collette and may you move towards heath and full recovery each and every day! I do hope you get to the coast...nothing like the sea ans salty air to bring about the healing!🌊🌊🌊 I so agree with you about having to not justify what you share with the public. We have derived opinions from our experiences and sharing our findings and listening to others is one of the ways we learn and grow. Thank you for sharing yours!💖💫 Sending much Aloha for your healing...green and blue are powerful colors...earth and sea and sky!🌊💚🌍🌴🌿🍃🌱🌈🙋‍♀️

Take very good care of yourself, doing exactly what you are doing. There's nothing like getting outside into Nature, even if it's only a plant pot outside your back door. It will still heal what troubles you 💕

Glad to hear you have fought it off Colette. I had it twice last year and my best advice is lots of rest, water and being outside.

"...Just around the cottage." You've managed to make your way all the way down to the stone circle. I chuckled. Your space has such healing qualities, so you should allow it to help heal you. Browse the land, by all means. It's better than any medicine.

I'm sorry to hear you've got Covid, Colette. Do take care, won't you. I've had it for two weeks now and the fatigue and general feeling of being unwell is really hanging on. I agree about getting fresh air though, and seeing the green of the trees and plants is really healing. Thank you for sharing this video and I hope you enjoy your trip to the coast. Take care and feel better soon x
