Super Robot Wars is an amazing series that has been exclusive to Japan for most of its 30-year run, but this time we actually get an official release! Ever wanted to see a Gundam face off against enemies from SSSS.Gridman? Well, here ya go. SRW is a huge crossover game all about mech anime coming together under one roof to have a crazy storyline as an excuse to watch giant robots beat each other up. One of my favorite SRPG series, very happy it's finally available much easier in the West. Easy to recommend, tons of content, many hours of enjoyment, go for it.

There's upward of 60 games with Super Robot Wars in the title. Another 15+ that are direct spin offs. If we numbered them now we'd be closer to SRW 70!

If they put more effort on making more dynamic kills, it wouldnt feel so linear in a long run. Funny how Z and Z2s still amazes me to this day with how ground and air attack has different animations

Actually that not true super robot wars v and x were release in pc in Asian regions so 30 is not the first on pc course it is region lock on steam
I genuinely didn't know that, thanks! My only exposure to V was on PS4 from Play Asia, so I had no idea.
I would've been ecstatic to open my wallet for both V and X on PC. But as there is no way for me to buy the games I was forced to get them through other means. Which is a shame as they're both great. Of course I bought SRW30 as soon as it came out though. I'm happy to support this series just for giving Shinji Ikari actual character development and agency in TWO separate reboots.
