Saw your article on the Trek. Loved the (very) accurate description of all the personalities! And the quote of "you'll usually find me stopping to take pictures of everything, out of breath from any slight incline, and employing my signature move...which is tripping over absolutely nothing." - I so felt that.

Great video! Awesome tip’s about the Fanny pack. I had pretty much talked myself out of one since it was a little extra weight. But all the reasons you give in favor of a fanny pack are very important. Great job! Which one do you use?
It’s literally a cheap little one off of Amazon. I’ve seen others with the same bag but different tags so you know it’s all the same bag from overseas that companies just tag as their own. My particular one is 4Monster branded
I can disagree with some items. But honestly you are kited out well. Won’t be the kit that fails. Only real objection is as another person said is food. My nasty chest and I’m not from USA is MRE gift packs. A USA soldier can tell you what the proper name is. But water sealed little packs with toilet paper and even tobacco sauce and tea/coffie. Another cheat I would have to find. It’s a Soviet little cook stove. Small as anything but works.
