I sooooooo wished that jimmy and jenny could've ended up together, they'd make the perfect couple. And he really loved her.
Jenny in real life married Phil and had 2 daughters , they mention it later in the series .

In the book Jenny went skinny dipping at Brighton Beach, so it isn't that strange that they would swim in their draws.
And Jimmy could not end up with Jenny because she is based an a real character who married someone else. Jimmy also married someone else.
That’s true. The show is based on the book which is based on a true story. I love how she finds Jesus✝️🕊❤️
@@meganslonesings Jimmy married but his wife doesn't seem very nice Jenny describes her in the book as domineering. She also said that this trip they took was to Brighton Beach and she ended up practically having an asthma attack from the cold water and when she got back to London Sister Julien laughed when Jenny told her what she had and immediately sent her to rest up for a few hours.

You’d be surprised! According to my mother, my great-grandmother (who would have been “courting” in the 30s) advised her to “try them before you marry them dear”! I love the addition of the word “dear”!

Yes, at the end of Season 3 Jenny finally meets the man she eventually goes on to marry. However, the books the series is based on weren’t romance novels. They were autobiographical journals of a young midwife. Perhaps Mills & Boon style made-for-tv movies would be more your style…maybe?🤷🏽♀️
