How much do you want to bet that to justify Joyboy losing to Imu, Oda will pull the good old "Incurable Disease" card and say that Joyboy was sick and nerfed at the end of the war?
I'm leaning more on Morj's theory that the main cause of the defeat, was his crew not being enough. Joyboy was defeated by an organized effort, not by pure power IMO. This would be consistent with the constant "apologies" from his supposed crew.
I don't believe this was "just a conquerers haki release" as you say. Joyboy literally said in that one panel with emmeth that he put his strongest haki in there.
All of this point toward the three main powers in the One piece world. Haki, DF habilities, and the power to make allies. That's what Joyboy was lacking and what Buggy represents in Cross guild.
One Piece is so so good. I'm glad I started watching One Piece during Covid. Nothing can ever replace One Piece in my heart now. I Love One Piece so much. I like your videos too, Mr.Morj.
My theory is luffy may reach joyboys level of haki after finding out ab the history and what he has to do. The will of D and bringing the dawn may bring his willpower up so much that he has the same level of haki as joyboy, if luffy can master it is a whole other question
Joyboy's knot is clearly the strongest Conqueror's Haki feat we've seen, but saying nothing comes remotely close is just incorrect. Shanks literally did the exact same thing against Greenbull. He forced an admiral level character out of transformation with a Conqueror's Haki release.
@@vadersnemesis It isn't a linear thing. Luffy knocking out 50 thousand Fishman isn't 50 thousand times more impressive than knocking out one. The fact that his Haki alone forced all the remaining Gorosei on Egghead is one of the most insane feats I’ve seen in fiction. I don’t think anyone even suspected characters could force any opponent out of their powered up states with Haki alone, no matter how much weaker they were. Sure, Shanks could KO an East Blue Zoan user with his Haki alone, but they wouldn’t be stripped of their Zoan form even in a KO’d state
Fun thought: What if the Nika fruit makes Luffy immortal? Humans die of old age when their bones / organs deteorate and eventually fail. This should not affect Luffy. He could still be killed by others but his body would theoretically live forever.
I don't know about that. We've seen "potential futures" of Luffy as a dried up old man. When he leaves has 5th he looks like he exhausted so much of his life span as well. If anything i think it shortens his life and is a death flag for the end of the series.
@@VeilQuest Every time we have seen Luffy dried up or shrunk was when he overused his haki/devil fruit in combat and once when Bonney used her ability on him. As I said, he can be killed through combat but by itself, his body would not deteorate. The "life span shortening" much likely is stated as a red hering because this is how normal bodies react to Ivankov's infusion.
I mean that’s kind of a huge leap. We’d have to know more about Nika in general to say for sure. But the fact that Luffy’s body has aged since eating the fruit indicates he’s not immortal.
Morj, you’ve got to start depicting JoyBoy (in the thumbnail) with a big, round, red nose. We all know it’s going to happen. You need to stop denying the inevitable
It was a haki attack specifically designed for such a moment. It doesn't necessarily mean that it was a casual haki attack, although it may have been. Obviously it still supports your main point, but I think it's important to highlight that.
4:18 I wouldn't say basic release of CH JB said it was his strongest or greatest haki, regardless though it's the greatest display of Haki release thus far
The One Piece is Double4uanime's message to Forneverworld in the future who tells him Code Breaker's comment section had a comment from Sawyer7mage who quoted Uzimaki khan "Bwaaaaaaaaah arghhhhhhh nooooo agghhh naaah fam nah fam waaaaggghhhhhhhh oda odaaaaaaaah yesssss hes freee fam hes free bwaaaghhh"
Wasn't that Joyboy's highest display of haki, not his basic one, that he put in the rope? It's still amazing, but this just being his base haki would be a bit too much no?
Thank you for pointing out in this Video that Haki is a Seperate Innate Skill that can be COMBINED with Other fighting styles Such as Devil Fruits, Tech, AND Swordsmanship.
On people being surprised that Haki can be stored, actually Oda already kind of told us that it was possible: i.e. the black swords. Mihawk's and Enma were probably this type of application but primarily for the Armament Haki.
There was nothing "basic" about JoyBoy's haki. He himself said he's putting his most powerful haki burst in the rope. Obviously Joyboy is the strongest, but let's not make it look like a cakewalk for him to produce that haki burst
I can’t wait till they do the back in the day when either Joyboy or NIKA walking around cause when they did it in Shippuden that changed a lot of my perspective and enjoy the show even more
Thanks for CLEARLY outlining what has been obvious since Luffy's ascendancy as Joy Boy incarnate Mr. Morj. JB was a living GOD amongst men due to the nika nika fruit, the power of imagination. None of that power scaling crap that's constantly been thrown around conveniently all the time by the fandom to fuel some misguided narrative that Shanks or Kaido or Roger or any other heavy hitters in the series might be equal to or better than. The man's power as was brilliantly described was night and day to everyone else. When Luffy's ready he's gonna surpass even that.
Oda showing us Joyboy Haki,is the best thing could happen in this chapter. Luffy is already OP with his DF and Haki,he just need someone to guide him,how to used it more effectively. Would love to see Sun Goda Nika+ Joyboy Haki (Luffy) vs Dark + Gura no mi (Blackbeard) showdown
Could the Nika fruit be used to buff your Haki if you imagine it? I Like the idea of weaving haki and all but maybe it was also the Nike fruit that made the haki knot possible?
I think Shanks is the literal parallel of Joyboy, where Shanks' crew and Grand Fleet are incredibly weak and he always acts to protect them. Luffy's crew and Grand Fleet are all strong and rely on themselves as well as each other to succeed.
There's another parellel with Oden that can explain how Joy Boy lost, Oden could've defeated Kaidou but it would cost the lives of many people, Joy Boy could've been in the same spot.
This is why Luffy vs Blackbeard will happen first. BB’s darkness devil fruit cancelling the Nika powers will force Luffy to have a haki jump so he’s able to defeat Blackbeard

You got that right? Joy boy is the most powerful, strongest fastest and smartest character ever of all time in the history of one piece with emu second only to him
Luffy is already 3x stronger than anyone else in his crew by the time he defeated Kaido. But now we see Joyboys haki effect so strong, it overhwelmed all Gorosei at once. Joyboys haki is therefor way above what we believed Kaido was. Whicu is the strongest creature on earth. And till now Kaido has been. Everyone else couldnt touch Kaido. But if Luffy gains the haki level of Joyboy, while he also has the craziest devilfruit.
I can only imagine how insane the Nika-Nika Fruit’s abilities will be at this point! I mean, the best I can imagine is stuff like Luffy creating a hurricane by growing giant, taking a deep breath in so large his whole body expands before blowing it all out, and maybe even something like shaking an entire island by treating it like a pair of bongos! Other than that, God knows what Oda has planned! I’m actually intimidated and a little scared on what this mad genius will do next!

greenbull is low yonko to high yc1 tier. Each gorosei is at least mid yonko tier in strength. @@danercherian496 Respectfully, there are so many things wrong with your post. 1) Joyboy's stored haki was not "several thousand years old" The void century occurred between 800 and 900 years ago. 2) There is no "low yonko" level (with the exception of Buggy, who is a Gag Yonko). Every Yonko in a 1v1 with another would be a high-diff battle. GreenBull solo'd King & Queen, then fought Yamato (who held his/her own against Kaido in hybrid form), and all the scabbards without breaking a sweat. Shanks's CoC haki from MILES/Kilometers away forced a Yonko tier character out of his DF form and immediately forced him to retreat. I'm not saying Shanks has haki on the level of JoyBoy, but for Morg to say no character has any feat close to what we saw last chapter is just false. The only thing we haven't "seen" was the ability to store haki for future use, but we've seen CoC force DF users out of their DF ability before
@@jet8197 I think you're misinterpreting my argument. I'm not saying Shanks's haki is as strong as JoyBoy's. I'm directly addressing Morj's point that no one has a feat comparable to Joyboy's. @@jared2243you first comment is true. It wasint several thousand years but it was still several 100 years old. My point still stands. Joyboy is the first ever charecter to be able to store haki. Low yonko does exist, blackbeard, old whitebeard and bigmom stands no chance defeating prime shanks and would lose to him mid diff. Thefore all 3 are low yonko. While shanks and kaido are high yonko giving each other an extreme diff fight. Luffy is mid yonko tier
Reverting the Gorosei's power with haki in close range (Vice admirals further back arent affected) is used to showcase the strongest haki yet you didnt mention Shanks doing the same thing from miles away to an actual Admiral. I get that it would weaken your argument to point that out but it feels like a big omission.
you can say the same about Shanks cause we haven't seen the full extent of his haki, we only got that wifi haki on Greenbull which had a similar effect as Joyboys in that it nullified devil fruit powers and one shoting Kid. Not really going all out. I'm not saying Shanks haki is stronger than Joyboys but it's for sure close if not on the same level with Rogers.
But one thing i also wonder that how much strong the kings were who were able to withstand joyboy wrath, they must be strong enough to withstand his haki and even defeat joyboy
My question is if he’s the strongest ever and shanks suspected that’s what that devil fruit was, why would he just leave that fruit out in the open at the bar for someone to go and eat it, you’d think it would be hidden and locked in the ship
I think elbaf will be a huge training arc and history of joyboy secrets type thing and also luffy will have to fight Blackbeard without his devil fruit and just pure skill and Haki there definitely has to be a fight like that for luffy he’s gonna be pushed to the edge where he can’t use his devil fruit and also I think that’s what he will learn in either elbaf or from shanks just haki
Wrong, In the manga, Joyboy said it was one of his gretest attacks, so its not a base conquerors haki realease, its probably his strongest attack so obviously he indeed showned the most powerfull haki feat, but he didnt hurt any Gorosei, not even a tiny bit, Saturn was left intact, probably his haki only faded away the invoqued Gorosei. Luffys haki is beyond any one elses haki, not kaido, not Shanks or even Roger can came close to Luffys current conquerros haki, the sky splitby himslef alone in Egghead just by using G5 == Roger AND WB clash, when kaido ask what type of world luffy wants he elevated his will or in other words his conquerors haki became so powerfull he knocks the f out of kaido before hitting the ground, he even started seeing all his life after he got hit, to knock and probably kill kaido by one hit of conquerors haki for me is very clear Luffys acoc is extremly way stronger than kaido, and finally he DID LOST against IMu, he had no roght arm, no right leg, he apolgized to the wolrd for something even tho he had the strongest races of all (gigants, minks, ancient kingdom tech, fishmans, etc) the three ancient weapons and the GOD NIKA fruit. IMU is the strongest ever but Luffy for sure will surpass her and its actually close to.
9:33 bruuuuh just because Imu said those have the D. Are the ones opposed to us, doesnt mean Imu is trashing and downplaying someone Like Kaido for example. You're forcing it tbh. Plus Imu specifically says that they dont know about their History, so thats why they're empty husks. She never even mentionned about the strongest guys in the World. If Kaido had a D. In his name, it would have been the same, since Kaido wouldnt know about the D story, so that doesnt make him threat to Imu and the WG. But even without the D, Kaido would have caused a threat if he decided to aim directly to the Gorosei and Imu, without a doubt

Altough a normal Conquerors Haki attack (no coating), he did say (atleast in the translation I read) that it was ''his most powerful haki'' so not disregarding anything Morj said just, that altough Joyboy is peak strenght. That was his max output.
How much do you want to bet that to justify Joyboy losing to Imu, Oda will pull the good old "Incurable Disease" card and say that Joyboy was sick and nerfed at the end of the war?
🤣🤣🤣
Or he will be inconsistent like he has been since years. Big mom vs mid and flaw exists.
@@MarianaBello-fq3hxMid and flaw is crazy insult with pun.
I'm leaning more on Morj's theory that the main cause of the defeat, was his crew not being enough. Joyboy was defeated by an organized effort, not by pure power IMO. This would be consistent with the constant "apologies" from his supposed crew.
@@eggheadmuyup
Morj are you suggesting Joy Boy could do an Advanced Conquerors Bajrang Gatling Gun?!?
I don't believe this was "just a conquerers haki release" as you say. Joyboy literally said in that one panel with emmeth that he put his strongest haki in there.
It's still just a conqueror's haki release dude, it's not a haki infused punch or anything.
@Cipher_Paul i believe his strongest haki means he actually focused or concentrated it, like when it's used in an attack.

That's what Joyboy was lacking and what Buggy represents in Cross guild.
No way you tryna compare buggy to joyboy
One Piece is so so good. I'm glad I started watching One Piece during Covid. Nothing can ever replace One Piece in my heart now. I Love One Piece so much. I like your videos too, Mr.Morj.
My theory is luffy may reach joyboys level of haki after finding out ab the history and what he has to do. The will of D and bringing the dawn may bring his willpower up so much that he has the same level of haki as joyboy, if luffy can master it is a whole other question
I like the idea of joy boy being similar to Luffy in design and personality but less airheaded and more of a typical shonen protagonist
Morj, thanks for providing extra content for your supporters and not paywalling your regular streams
Is Joyboy the pirate who will be introduced with an eye patch? 🤔
We know he was the first pirate
don't forget the peg leg and the hook hand.
@xMrMayhemx
That too 👍
People will come back to this comment soon enough 😁
Joyboy's knot is clearly the strongest Conqueror's Haki feat we've seen, but saying nothing comes remotely close is just incorrect. Shanks literally did the exact same thing against Greenbull. He forced an admiral level character out of transformation with a Conqueror's Haki release.
Joyboy did it to 5. So at best Shanks' feat is 20% as impressive
@@vadersnemesis It isn't a linear thing. Luffy knocking out 50 thousand Fishman isn't 50 thousand times more impressive than knocking out one. That being said, Joyboy's feat is obviously still far more impressive. I just think it's around twice as much instead of quintuple.
I don't think the current strongest (Shanks, Mihawk, Dragon in no particular order) are that far behind Joyboy in Haki. If Shanks or Dragon were in that position I think they'd be able to send away 2 or 3 Gorosei.
@@vadersnemesisif saturn was the only one in egghead does that make joyboy feat 80% less impressive? If it can affect one it can affect any number as long as theyre within the range
Yeah if you ignore the fact that it failed to knock out vice admirals.
@@Shark-hn4mv We don't know for certain, but Conqueror's Haki probably has less of an effect the further away you are. Although, going with that logic Shanks still has the best Haki feat with Greenbull.

egghead is ending and we still dont have the wano review 😭😭
The fact that his Haki alone forced all the remaining Gorosei on Egghead is one of the most insane feats I’ve seen in fiction. I don’t think anyone even suspected characters could force any opponent out of their powered up states with Haki alone, no matter how much weaker they were. Sure, Shanks could KO an East Blue Zoan user with his Haki alone, but they wouldn’t be stripped of their Zoan form even in a KO’d state
shanks powered down greenbulls (an admiral) from afar
This is giving “the raid will fail” vibes
Just for his will to be passed down and linger through multiple generations and bloodlines as D's, his Haki must've been insane!
im so happy that Shanks D. Snitch fans can no longer say he’s top 1 😹🙏🏽
If Shanks is top 1 Oda is just a bad writer cuz Zoro's dream is pointless in this scenario.

No way bro said that, we’re about to learn about the first pirate.
Fun thought: What if the Nika fruit makes Luffy immortal? Humans die of old age when their bones / organs deteorate and eventually fail. This should not affect Luffy.
He could still be killed by others but his body would theoretically live forever.
Luffy can age though but yeah his gear 5 form makes him look very young like a boy
We don't see it much anymore but also it's great in tandem with the life return technique.
Morj getting a sponsor = Morj getting a haircut
i bet joyboy gave himself up to imu and the gorosei like how roger did when he was executed
JoyBoy is just Luffy from the future that went back in time 800 years.
Imagine facing haki after relying on fruit powers your whole life
Could the Nika fruit be used to buff your Haki if you imagine it?
I Like the idea of weaving haki and all but maybe it was also the Nike fruit that made the haki knot possible?
I think Luffy could get another haki training session, maybe on Elbaf.
Shanks did nullify green bull devil fruit in Wano which i guess is almost close to joyboy level of haki
That’s next level haki infusion.. wonder if luffy’s straw hat was made the same way
This is why Luffy vs Blackbeard will happen first. BB’s darkness devil fruit cancelling the Nika powers will force Luffy to have a haki jump so he’s able to defeat Blackbeard
What people aren’t talking about is Joyboy could have spent hours or days gathering that Haki into the knot.
For all we know this could be the case.

Honestly I think that the thing Imu did to beat Joy Boy’s faction was as simple as getting Uranus for the 20 kings
Only oda does this thing that shows something about a misterious character only leading to more mystery about him
Love this thing and keeps us hungry for more
101% ancient weapons were either created just to kill joyboy or somehow joyboy's crew's stupidity or carelessness made sure Imu's side got hold of ancient weapons.
So Joyboy was like the shanks of the void century, protecting vulnerable crews.
8:00 I wonder how different Luffy will use his fruit once he learns it's the Nika the Sun God Fruit
I think that the ancient kingdom was located in the East Blue that would explain why the East Blue was considered the weakest sea
You got that right? Joy boy is the most powerful, strongest fastest and smartest character ever of all time in the history of one piece with emu second only to him
Hell no not the smartest, but everything else for sure.
@@Alfred-wd40 I’m just saying if you’re the most powerful, strongest fastest and smartest character and trust me you are the goat
I think Joyboy's identity will be Oda's original Luffy Monkey D. Pao
5:09 We saw whitebeard clashing with roger equally without his devil fruit, dfs are more of a fighting style at the highest tiers,he wouldn't be roger's equal if he didn't have similar haki
That was one clash that’s it lol
Kaido himself hyped Roger haki and not Whitebeard !!
@@f.n8581Yeah,it was the only clash we saw between them, and their haki was equal or near equal at least,we don't need 20 pages of their fight to be told that if we can get it in one page
Kaido mentioned roger as one example,he doesn't need to list every other top tier
Shanks’ wifi haki FORCED Greenbull out of his tree form. What do you mean he hasn’t done anything close to what JB did?
greenbull is low yonko to high yc1 tier. Each gorosei is at least mid yonko tier in strength. And joyboys STORED haki thats several thousand years old forced all gorosei out of their forms and scared imu. Shanks did that to one person.joyboy did that to all the gorosei and imu which are each above greenbull. so yeh comparing joyboy to shanks in conqurers is like comparing krillin to goku
The only thing we haven't "seen" was the ability to store haki for future use, but we've seen CoC force DF users out of their DF ability before
Has shanks split the sky by himself?
@@jet8197 I think you're misinterpreting my argument. I'm not saying Shanks's haki is as strong as JoyBoy's. I'm directly addressing Morj's point that no one has a feat comparable to Joyboy's. I'm merely saying Shanks's wifi CoC haki forced an admiral out of his DF form; which is comparable to Joyboy's haki blast knocking Gorosei out of their DF forms. Nothing more nothing less.
One note: the haki attack he used through Emeth was his strongest haki, not a basic release
In a 1-V-1 always bet on Joyboy
i bet luffy can now also make them vanish if summoned with his kings haki. he just did not know it's possible.
I think at the end of the day G5 caught up to Joyboy and that’s how he died. Or just the gears in general.
Very good analysis 💯💯💯
Shanks literally Stopped the War. With all the admirals and marines. Including BB and WB pirates.
But Mihawk acknowledge Vista at the summit war. That must mean he’s most powerful.

you can say the same about Shanks cause we haven't seen the full extent of his haki, we only got that wifi haki on Greenbull which had a similar effect as Joyboys in that it nullified devil fruit powers and one shoting Kid.
That frozen straw hat Imu has must be embedded with the strongest haki.
7:48 i guess the physical power boost does make since since he is a zoan user
Joy Boy so strong he can seal ancient haki within people
Luffy: AND IM JUST GETTING STARTED
13:55 feels like ur reading Oda's mind atp lol
I have a theory the imu is actually just two people from the (gnome) tribe sitting on their shoulders
And wearing an overcoat.
