the headlight stays on because its chinese and intended to be used as a daily motorcycle which are all required to have a headlight on at all times day or night thats why theres no off switch
id also like to watch videos of you learning to do wheelies on the light and ultra bee you got em down on bmx you can pick em up quick on the light bee i am

Here in the Philippines, all newly manufactured motorized vehicles are required to have an always on daytime running light/headlight and its probably the same thing in China where you got it. No off switch for the front lights at all, just a toggle for low and high beam.

@@shawncourville487 I just put a 3 way switch on my surron for off, high, lowbeam. Pretty easy fix if you want to be able to turn it off...
John is the most nature friendly bike rider I’ve ever seen. Don’t worry about running a few of them over though mate, there in abundance and your actually helping maintain the tracks because sure as hell the government won’t unless they have to
They are wild flowers aka weeds. Hope nobody actually gives a crap! As for erosion of trails.. not sure if that’s helping but yea those trails had been flooded out and never repaired for sure
A good thing you are doing with offering people a chance to buy a Sur-Ron like yours, with turn signals and everything. I do agree with what you said about the headlight, you should be able to flick a switch and turn it off completely. 70KPH it's decent going uphill considering it's built for offroad and not asphalt. you can install a headlight switch for turning the headlight off/on. I got one for my light bee so I wasnt draining battery for no reason during the day. works great.

You should set the sag on your bike. It's not just to make the suspension better, its to maximize grip of the tires with your body weight. It takes all of 10 minutes and is definitely worth it. There's a lot of cool BLM land in Castaic and Palmdale that would be fun to take one of those out on.
From a dirt bike desert ride opinion…the head light in the daytime makes it a lot easier to see riders coming in your direction. My Honda 450 X desert bike has no headlight shut off, just on all the time. I do understand on the battery bike you would rather have the option of turning it off to conserve energy.

i see you didnt plug in the brake wires. on the ultra bee you can turn off or on the disable motor whilst holding the brakes. its not like the light be! you can press both the ASR button and the ready button on the bike and have the ability to toggle through different settings. by not having them plugged in you lose out on the braking regen feature which can be set from 0-5 to save your brake pads and give more stopping power. then you can also turn the coasting regen from 0-5 aswell as a few other features.
They might keep the headlight on because that's a legal requirement for motorcycles, and since this thing appears to be set up to be registered for road use, it has to have it.

Headlight is a safety feature, so cars can see you better. It may also be required in many countries.
I have the Canadian US version and it came with a headlight switch stock. Still has 2 white markers on eather side of the headlights when in off position.

That bike is so much bigger than it looks in videos. Riding on it though.. its absolutely a perfect machine. I loved everything about it, I wish I would not of upgraded my light bee and just purchased another one of these instead.

Hi John I would like to see how surron handles with 2 riders on surron .When asked google weight limit on surron comes up 300lbs ,but I seen on surron website it’s 220 max load .I really liked the scenery in this video peace.

The headlight setup is like a normal street bike, always on, it's the law. I see the plate holder too. Signals. Horn. Technically those are things that make enduros street legal.

It’s a dual drive system. Primary drive is belt driven off motor to the jackshaft which then has a 520 chain to rear sprocket. It’s for gearing purposesd

Now put that guy to the test do some real trail riding hehe. Try climbing a nice steep hill looks like that thing would fly right on up it. Trick is to not overshoot it as well as making sure you give it enough power or else right towards the top / in the middle you'll have to bail off lol. Never really saw you ride a normal dirtbike before have you had any experience with normal 2 strokes or 4 strokes? Love this electric Surron Bee tho looks like it's got some giddy up and go! Lol. Hi John hicks. Why don't you just put a hitch receiver on you SUV and buy a E Bike rated bike rack. Would make it much easier for you to move your Suron Around. It just looks like a lot of work putting your E Bike in your SUV.
