- LETS CHECK OUT THE FIRST EPISODE OF MAX ORIGINALS WARRIOR TV SERIES, WHICH IS OUT NOW ON NETFLIX. FROM THE MIND OF BRUCE LEE, COMES A SHOW WHERE KUNG FU ACTION MEETS GANG WARFARE AT THE END OF THE 19TH CENTURY IN SEEDY SAN FRANCISCO CHINATOWN, THAT DESCRIPTION ALONE SHOULD GET BINGE FANS EXCITED, BUT LETS CHECK OUT THE FIRST BIT AND DECIDE IF ITS A STAY OR A NAY.

This is one of my favorite shows ever! It’s fictional, but covers a crazy time in American history in San Francisco. Irish and Chinese immigrants…. So good.
im almost finished season 1 in one day...im in to it...except for the music...but everything else is good for me.
Mine too .. I literally watched all 3 seasons & then watched it again 2 times afterwards …AWESOME SERIES …. too bad there not coming out with a season 4

Bruce Lee initially named the show 'the warrior ' focused on Ah Sahm's journey, the new writers called it 'warrior' to describe everyone on the show.. everybody is a warrior living in those times when they're all struggling to survive
yeah i realize they were stuck with the name because of the lee family...was a cooler name in the 1970s then 2019
Also to add to this, if you noticed many of the characters emulates Bruce Lee's fighting swagger. I even seen a video where the guy who plays Young Jun talking about channeling his inner Bruce Lee for the role. Young Jun, Ah Sahm, Chao, and Li Yong all have at times use some of Bruce Lee's mannerisms while fighting.

People have been recommending Warrior for me to watch for a while now because they kept saying I look like the main character. Finally tuned in to watch and now I'm completely hooked.

The intro is a banger. The music is still in my head lol
the intro grows on you..feels like a 70s funk/kung fu instrumental with a new beat....But them outro/credit songs? terrible choices.
@DanielBishopP I think it's ment to symbolize the fusion of old and new style. A new way to tell an old tale. This story was an old idea by Bruce Lee that was stolen to make the Kung fu series. Yet this series feels fresh. Just my opinion. But the old school western punk music symbolizes the retro, old school intro, and new school music as the outro symbolizes a move towards the future.
The intro/outro music are great.
This series kicked ass! Me and my dad Devoured this show and went through all 3 seasons. Edge of our seats. So I'm hoping that this gets big ratings so that Netflix does more seasons, like Netflix brought back "Lucifer"which originally a show done on FOX. Netflix bought it and the ratings went through the roof so much the public screamed for more seasons and Netflix went ahead and filmed two more seasons!!
Netflix has the streaming rights for now, but no production has been green lit as of yet.
They should have not cancelled this show, the people running these companies don’t know what a good show is
Max's issue was the cost per episode vs the amount of viewers, BUT they did not give the show a good or even decent promotion or push. It should have been a featured show on HBO on Sunday nights. Thats the run its budget and cast deserved.
Great storyline , good cast with classic cinematography . Best part is each character are so relatable , they have great depth in their character , always a fight between the good and evil side in each of characters. Nowadays can hardly find an exciting and entertaining series. Binge watching all 3 seasons. Keeps u wanting for more after each chapter. Very far and few series makes u crave for more. Hope they continue with season 4.

@@DanielBishopP I'm really glad they cast unknowns; almost makes it feel more authentic. Known celebs would distract..."Hey look, there's Michelle Yeoh (again)!" That said, I already knew Joe Taslim (Li Yong) from THE RAID, and Jason Tobin (Young Jun) from BETTER LUCK TOMORROW.
