Indigo is a scent that we rarely hear about here. I love that fig note in there.
I went into a Sephora a few weeks ago (the closest one is a four hour drive away in Thunder Bay, so it was QUITE an event!) and sniffed Wood Sage and Sea Salt because of you, and...now I need it as well as the oil perfumery of it to augment its performance. What a scent! Thanks you! (I always use your code at oil perfumery - thanks!) Creme de Cuir is one my husband's all-time favourites. He says he feels rich and sexy in it. :) Thanks for sharing your time with me today!

Like Code Satin, itâs discontinued. đ© Pink Pepper, Saffron, Oud, Rose, Heliotrope, Amber, Patchouli, Vanilla & Leather. May not sound all that, but it sang to me. Gorgeous purple bottle didnât hurt either. Some call it a beginner oud. If so, Iâm pitching a tent in beginner land & never leaving. đ

Indigo is on the tippy top of my wish list but Iâm waiting until AT LEAST august because I know Iâm going to love it for fall. I love that itâs a clean fragrance as I get headaches from perfumes easily and that puts me at ease.
If you havenât smelled it already I wouldnât blind buy it. I have it and like it but itâs definitely a polarizing scent imo.
I have a sample and I have smelled it many times in store.

Fleur de Bambu sounds nice, I like that kind of fragrance lately. Iâm also intrigued by some of the other ones!
Iâve been thinking and usually when I have a sample and test it several days I donât usually buy it. But I do a lot of blindbuy or test it at the store and buy it right away. Very impulsive I knowđ€. The ones that wowed me at the store where YSL Libre intense and Givenchy LâInterdit Rouge.
Iâve been wearing Med. Honeysuckle Mimosa this summer itâs so nice! Also I prefer Santal Vanille over Vanilla Woods - this brand is so good!

Wood sage and Sea salt, did not think I would be into it, my partner's sister gave me a small bottle of it, I was instantly hooked, Roos & Roos La Favourite has a sample set and to be honest I would have bought at 6 of their perfumes but La Favourite is an amazing rose oud combo, blended to perfection, Roos & Roos are a fantastic house that never get talked about. Chloe Nomade, got a sample in a beauty subscription, immediately bought a bottle, PDM Athalia and Cassili bought after have a sample set. I normally blind buy designer perfumes but when it niche I will get a sample kit because they are too pricey to be wrong, I have blind bought a few niche thankfully they worked out.

My God Yana, "if I get a deal, I feel good" pretty much sums up my shopping habits :D especially when it comes to perfume. No, really, when I get a Notino newsletter I have to hold myself down every time, otherwise I start thinking that I can take 1, but then this other one is also on sale, so maybe I should take both. And then I think that I shouldn't spend, so it's a back and forth thing. But when I do get a cool deal on a fragrance that I have wanted for a long time...boy it feels amazing! My partner constantly jokes about that when I buy things, he says "don't you have a coupon for that or something" :D and when I don't, it's a bummer :D P.S. Just finally got Pure Poison that I dreamt of for a long time for an amazing price because I got it from an app where people sell clothes and other things they don't need... Should I say that it was the best day this week? ;D
Thank you so much for your reviews! Regarding your sample with the broken sprayer ⊠did you know you can take some pliers and pop the spray unit right out? Take off the cap and atomizer and you can grab at the little tube in the center.
Iâve had the same issue and poured the remaining fragrance into an empty/clean sample atomizer from Nordstrom.

A few of yours were ones I had to have as soon as I sampled them. Princess, Indigo, Vanilla Woods and Code Satin. A few others I needed once I sampled were Kilian Kissing, Delina Exclisif, Rose 31. All of them smelled nice when I tried them on paper first, but they were magic once I put them on my skin.
I know what you mean! That's especially the case for Vanilla Woods on me. On paper it's nice but on my skin it's wonderful
I can always trust your recommendations because our taste is so similar! I also bought Gris Chanel because of all the positive reviews, but it turned so masculine on my skin. However I LOVE indigo

Yes, Gris Charnel also felt too *dry and somehow *cold to me, so I started mixing it with Pas Ce Soir, and it's purrfect now!đ
you should try the discovery set from nonfiction, i love the santal fragrance they have! Its a really popular brand in korea atm
I tend to shy away from sweet fragrances and Nest Indigo is sweet, to my nose. But I love it.
My next one is Louis Vuitton- Symphony omg it smells so captivating!
Saw the thumbnail and have 2/3. Had to come see the 3rd since our tastes are similar đ

I NEEDED Ylang in Gold the second I got my nose on it. CrĂšme de Cuir is a stunning scent but it gives me a headache after an hour or so (most leathers do đ). Velvet Tonka is on my wish list tho! I donât have a very long list of sample to full bottle fragrances because Iâm one the very naughty blind buyers đ

I blind bought it and hated it at first, I feel like it has a hint of an artificial scent, but when it dries down, it goes away, so now Iâm loving it đ

I totally agree with your thoughts on BDK. The only sample I tried and had to buy right away is from them. Tabac Rose. My introduction to tobacco. I actually look for scents that are not hyped from certain houses. Iâm a little weird that way. Love your content. Keep it up! â€ïžđšđŠ
I actually have three of the scents mentioned here, very possibly a first on your channel! The fragrance I just had to have after trying the sample was Charlotte Tilburyâs Scent of a Dream. This was a number of years ago, now I find it a bit too sweet for me to wear much. A second fragrance was Moscow Mule from Juliette Has a Gun. No one talks about this scent, but itâs my favorite. Iâve almost used up one whole bottle (100 ml) and have a backup. It sorta smells like Not a Perfume, only with woodsy, cedar-like notes. And it lasts more than 5 seconds on the skin!
Moscow Mule is a great fragrance! Not sure why nobody talks about it (including me! đ)

Finally someone giving credit to Bdk frags other than Gris Charnel and Rouge Smokingđđđ they are solid scents don't get me wrong, but Creme de Cuir is such an elevated and chic scent from this houseâ€which no one talks aboutđ
I completely agree! Rouge Smoking was interesting but probably no full bottle worthy for me. Gris Charnel is great but goes masculine on my skin. I guess with this brand it's particularly important to test on skin because of how the scent changes from person to person
Creme de cuir was the only one I was impressed with from bdk. Gris charnel was like water fig tea and rouge smoking like cherry coca cola to my nose. I have to be dressed quit sophisticated and chic to pull creme de cuir. I kinda like when CZcamsrs donât talk about perfumes I love đ more for me and more unique as niche should be!

Oh man...too many! - Portrait of a Lady being most notable but also Bee by Zoologist, Fin du Monde by ELDO and several scents from Imaginary Authors and January Scent Project! I got sample sets and was like - Yes, yes, yes, yes...LOL! I will say that I will blind buy the he!! out of cheaper fragrances but ALWAYS get samples of anything $100 and above per bottle! I suggest anyone do that as well - set a price point that you are like - above this and I need to try it first! Because who wants to just throw their money away if it turns out to be something you really don't enjoy? But, thank you for sharing these very nice fragrances with us...xoxo

Indigo is a Big Little love for me. Immediate buys for me after smelling recently were Tiziana Terenzi Orza, Pearlescent Midnight Jasmine, and Tresor Midnight Rose. All r deep lush fragrances. I also immediately bought Vilhelm Mango Skin and Dear Polly after trying samples of them. Have u tried and if so, do u like any of those? Great video as always.

Dear Polly is similar to Indigo but not quite as sweet.
Vilhelm is on my testing wishlist! I haven't tried any yet but Dear Polly and Poets of Berlin look really interesting to me
@@TheScented Yes. I have Poets of Berlin. Blueberry muffin with hints of lemon flower. Some people say itâs green for them in the opening but I do not get that at all. A comforting fragrance imo, but beautiful in heat.

My latest "had to have" came after smelling Byredo's Bal d'Afrique from their discovery set. I know I'm late on that train, but SOOOO good! Only downside is that I'm going to go through it so fast (I'm an overspray kinda gal) and it's so pricey. $.$
Better late than never!! That one is a fave for me but definitely not the greatest performance so I overspay it too and layer it with the matching body products

Bal dâAfrique is uniquely beautiful, only I canât afford it, so bought the hand cream and body lotion instead.
I wore Creme de Cuir yesterday after I heard from someone that it works in the summer and it was as lovely as ever.
The first frag I knew I needed a bottle of after trying the sample was Glossier You. It was the first perfume I ever loved and bought myself and I wore it exclusively for years before becoming a full blown fraghead. The last frag I smelled and needed a bottle of immediately was Prada Infusion dâAmande. Oh, the same thing happened recently with Zara MSK 004/NTL which of course I tried after it was discontinued and had to pay way more than I would have if I had been able to get it from Zara. I fell madly in love with Ormonde Jayne Ormonde Woman at first sniff and knew I needed a bottle. Some others that this happened with were Chanel No. 5 LâEau and Coromandel and MFK Grand Soir.
Love at first sniff for me was Chanel 1957!

There have been a few times I have smelled a fragrance and had to buy the full bottle right away.
When I won that Oakcha Old Barrel from You/your channel I ordered another right away AND I bought a bottle of Tom Ford Beau De Jour.
I also had to buy a full bottle of Dark Lord by Kilian after I bought a sample. It is perfect for Fall and a Canadian Winter as well.

Definitely gotta test this one, it seems to behave very differently on everyone. My skin pulls sweetness in fragrances so it's actually quite feminine sweet and buttery suede on me đ„°

The minute I smelled Blanche Bete , Pas Ce Soir, Je Ne Sais Quoi, and Psychedelic Love (to name a few), I had to have a full bottle.

I sampled Princess, Love Don't Be Shy and Gourmand Bakhoor (by Jousset) and immediately had to buy them. I wish I could see the original Princess bottle as a black crystal ball, but I just see a bowling ball...ugh!

(think I prefer Sintra ( I remember you reviewed Flam & likened it a little to Alien - what are your thoughts on this. ? havenât been able to smell the decant for Flam..?
