Great video and thank you so much for your support! Coming soon is a wall bracket that let's you easily adjust the spacing!
Awesome! Look forward to seeing it! Really an amazing product, I think it will do really well!
I love this idea, especially for a small shop.
Yeah, I think it's pretty neat. I think even for larger shops its great. Completely frees up your assembly table and you don't have to have you glue ups sitting on it. Especially good for me, since my assembly table is also my outfeed table. Thanks for watching bigdwoodcrafting!
I think that is the coolest tool you have ever had on your show. Very cool. I am going to re-org shop to get a wall that will take this clamp companion. Thanks for the review, good show
Oh thank yo uso much flatlander! I don't disagree. This really is a unique accessory for the shop. When I saw it I knew it would be a popular solution for a lot of poeple. Thanks so much for watching really appreciate it!
Wow, thanks for the tips on laying pipe
Thanks Brian. Take care & stay safe.
You too Doug! Thanks so much for watching!
Great video and a fantastic space saving, small shop addition!

Will do! :). Thanks so much for watching Barry!
Wow...What a fantastic idea. Thank you for sharing and demonstrating. Love your channel.
My pleasure Larry! Really appreciate you watching. Thanks so much and have a great week!
Dang, that's a great invention. My brain is in overdrive right now imagining where I can put this clever workbench/ glue up table. Thanks, Flynndog, another great product review video. You are really good at this.
You are too kind Gazman! THanks os much for watching as always. Really appreciate it. I'm having a lot of fun with this channel. :) Thanks again!
This is great, inventive, and a useful find Mr. Flynndogg! Don't know how you find these but glad to be subscribed! I just love putting well machined parts to good use! Thank you for sharing this find.
My pleasure lespaulguitarman! I'm having a lot of fun checking out some of these new and innovative tools. Thanks so much for watching!

:) you as well jim! cheers!
Cool tool. Great Video!
Thanks so much Ken! I really like this one as well. Thanks so much for watching!
I think that's a great idea. Thanks
Thanks for watching upnorth! I appreciate it!
What will be your choice to put on the floor for the glue drips? Could this also work attached to the end of a bench like a foldable extension? I haven't taken time to think about the weight as I'm typing this 🤔
All great questions. I've done a couple of glue ups and had a bit of glue drip onto the floor. I may put a silicone matt underneath this spot. Thanks so much for watching glockguide
That is VERY cool!
I thought so too! Really a great addition. Thanks so much for watchign Timber2Toothpicks!
Great idea!!
I thought so too Chris! Thanks so much for watching, really appreciate it!
Great idea!
I thought so too. I think this product will do well for RS tools. Thanks so much for watching jazzdad!
Interesting product. Thorough review. The effectiveness of these pipe clamps appears to depend crucially on one ability to make them co-planer. If they aren’t co-planer, any glue-up will build warp and twist into one’s panel. The level during installation is good. What if the wall is not plumb at all four attachment spots?
Great question! If the wall isn't plumb, you can add a ledger board across the span where you want to put these, and then you're able use shims at the stud locations to plumb the ledger board, giving you a good surface to mount your brackets to. This is exactly how mine are set up because my workshop walls aren't very good.
Great question and thank you RS Tool for answering. Thanks so much for watching mark2talk2u!
Pretty slick setup, not sure where I could make a space for it. Have a great weekend, and thanks for the video.
I agree Pat! That's really the only downfall to it, is you have to dedicate a bit of wall space too it. Thanks as always for watching!
Those mini-blind supports turned out pretty cool! 😂
But for reals… that really is a cool system for someone who does panel glue ups a lot!
Haha! Too funny! Well, it was a good guess! :). Thanks so much as always for watching Damon! Really appreciate it!
A very bright idea.
I thought so too Kelly! Thanks so much for watching, really appreciate it!
Great ideal
I thought so too! Really pretty cool. Thanks so much for watching Mike!
Love the shirt during the depstech part!
Haha! Thanks so much that's one of my new ones. If you're interested I've got them available on my website! :) www.flynndoggwoodwork.com
Thanks so much for watchign Jared!
Great idea. Is there a way to adjust the brackets to ensure that all the bars are "flat" or even with each other when projecting away from the wall (so the glue up is flat)?
Good Question wilfmeier! I don't think you can adjust the brackets themselves, but I have not noticed any problems with getting the wood in the glue-ups flat. The pipe calms inherently have enough flex and movement in them to adjust Thanks so much for watching!
I'm not a pipe clamp fan, but this is the coolest thing I've seen in a while. Pricey, but I can see how not only does it save space but it makes clamping easier. $300 for four is steep (no breaks for quantity, either) but I machining isn't cheap. Just think what anodizing them red would cost. Nice
Thanks so much for watching kwilliams! You know I'm not really a huge pipe clamp fan either. Preferr f-style of quick clamps, but I will say evern since installing this, I've been using a lot. Maybe this will turn me! :). Really cool design. Thanks again for watching!
Needs swing down legs attached underneath the pipes. Could be aluminum and have adjustable feet to accommodate flooring inconsistencies. Some cheap spirit level bubble mounted on each pipe arm would be good to so each arm would be on the same plane.
Great ideas Buck! I think that would be a great addition. Thanks for sharing and watching, really appreciate it!
Um.. where in the USA did you ever get a 13mm (.512") lag? I bet 1/2" would have been a perfect fit...Maybe next time just drill out the 2nd and 3rd holes without removing the brackets and making more work for yourself. Keep up the good vids!!!
Haha! You are probably right! :) Thanks so for the tip and thanks for watching beerguy!
I think pulling the lag and screwing back reduces the strength, of both the wood fibers and may work-harden the lag. I'd do it in one shot, too.
If you're worried about metric lags, just replace them. Lags are cheap.
You are correct. The guy doing this vid spoiled the whole thing using the foreign jibberish. 1/2” inch is the socket size.
For those who don't already know, 5/16", 1/2", and 3/4" are each within a few thousandths of, respectively, 8, 13, and 19 mm (7/8" is pretty close to 24 also, IIRC); these sizes are interchangeable for wrenches. Threads won't be, of course - but who ever saw a metric lag screw? Flynndogg probably just gave the mm size in case you only had metric sockets.
Or he wasn't using the bald eagle side of his socket set
Not bad ⚡️
Thanks so much Johnnymac! I appreciate you watching!
Whats the weight capacity? Awesome idea indeed
Great question, and Someone else asked the same question. I do not know off hand, but maybe the manufacturer will chime in. Thanks for watching ponyboyc
Who’d a thought? Nice job.
Haha! Thanks so much Roland. I appreciate you watching!
Brian is that made of aluminum or steel? Good job.
Excellent Question! Aluminum. Really holds up nicely! Thanks so much for watching John!
WOW! Just blew my mind. Initially I was wondering what the hell is this thing, but then... 😲😲🤩🤩 What a fantastic idea and product I would never have known about without your video. Thank you for bringing this to us in a great video.
P. S.... Any chance of an explanation video on how to add length to one's pipe? 😏 Been searching for the answer to that problem since hitting puberty 😔😔😂😂😂
Haha! Love it. I'm dying over here. If I knew that answer, I'd probably be richer than elon musk! :). This really is quite a cool product and already used it multiple times. Might even make my best of 2024 tools. Time will tell though !:). Thanks so much for watching Sly Wolf!

is nice but - £240 for a set of 4 ... it is way too expensive for DIY people
Yes, it's a little pricy but pretty cool idea! Thanks so much for watchign DIYHomeUK. Really appreciate it!
13:02 I noticed in your demonstration that, when you removed your forearm from the lumber, the pipe clamp actually rose up a very small bit, probably less than 1/4 of an inch. I'm curious to know what was actually flexing, was it the pipe, the Clamp Companion, or was it the wall? I don't do any heavy weight glue-ups, but having the ability to fold this down would free up floor space in a small workshop.
Great question PaganWizard. Thank so much for asking. I went back to check it out and it appears that it is the flex of the pipe and then the release of pressure on that pipe that allowed the bracket to spring back just a tad in the bracket. Kind of hard to explain, but just some movement of the little bracket on the end of the pipe in the back bracket. Thanks so much for watching!
A little pricey but very cool
I thought so too! Thanks so much for watching Tommy!
I’m curious what the load capacity is. I have a workbench top that is basically 15 pieces of 1.5” X 5.5” and 96” long. It’s 22.5” wide, but weighs around 250 pounds without the legs and stretchers (total weight is 463 pounds). The lag screws may be the weak link in this instance, but the bases also have a limit. Looks great for light panels, but a workbench top would probably be too much for it. Of course, I recognize that almost nobody would attempt to build a workbench top on this, but the load capacity would be nice to know in any case…🤔
This is a great question, and I wish I had the answer. I agree with you. I think the lag screws would be the weak point in the occasion. I think the angles that you lower the pipe clamps down probably really effect how much weight it can handle. I might leave this question to RS tool if they have the answer.
Great tool but is a bit pricey for not including the clamps, I love the video but I guess I’m gonna have to save for some time to get these
Thanks so much for the comment Dandoestilla! Really appreciate it. Yeah the price can add up a little bit once you add the pipe clamps to the total. Thanks so much for watching! Really appreciate it!
Where is the link?
Never mind I found it. I had to "refresh the page"
Haha! Thanks for watching Rick:)
Interesting but I literally have no open wall and floor space for it.
I hear you that's the definitely something you sacrifice for this tool. Really appreciate you watching BeaulieuTodd! Thanks again!
Good video. Nice idea but limited in space and weight. Some may like the idea but for me I'll pass.
Thanks for sharing and watching greatgrandpaswoodworking! Not for everyone I know.
37.50 a pop .. that’s an expensive bracket . Nice job on the video !
Cheers
Thank so much Robert! Really appreciate you watching!
Depstech sounds like a sh*tty new type of music the kids are listening to.
Haha! Too funny. Thanks so much for watching Maximus! Really appreciate it!
Just squeeze out on the floor might be a problem
Man you have good foresight Corby! I'm already starting to get a line on my floor. thinking about painting underneath it with some sort of epoxy is type paint. Great catch! :)
@@FlynndoggWoodwork that’s what I’m here for. Lol. That’s a lie I’m here for Burt!!!!!
@@CorbyQ haha! Love it. Glad to hear it! :). Burt will be back in a couple of videos from now. He's been making a lot appearances in my shorts as of late! :)
Great idea and design but $150 for two, that’s a bit pricey. I’m sure over time there’ll be other designs that will be more reasonably priced. Thanks for the video
Thanks so much for watching Brian! Really appreciate it! Hope you have a great week!
Their site needs work. Don’t see what you get for the price listed. In comments there are different comments stating different prices and amounts.
Thanks for sharing akbychoice. I think it's a one man show, so hopefully they will get it better in the future. Thanks for watching!
You can do that with a fold-down panel hinged into the wall made out of scrap wood or a old door. What a waste of money!
Well, I don't think it would be as sturdy as this. With the wood you are gluing up and the pipe clamps, that would be a lot of weight to support without a metal foundation like this has.
Pretty good idea BUT $150 is a bit Much! No wonder you did not share how expensive they are!
Haha! Well, I didn't do that intentionally. I think when recorded this video the prices weren't set yet. Thanks so much for watchign John! Really appreciate it. Have a great week!
Dogg man, have you checked your email yet? You said, "laying pipe," then you said, "rigid," "the length of your pipe," and, finally, "rack" didn't you? Dogg man, I hope you didn't pay for that skim coat on the walls. Your drywall guy was probably drunk, like they mostly are. Now those clamping companions are a great idea, especially at $150. Maybe, we'll get two sets and give up the idea of a new cabinet saw as they are half the price. BTW, wouldn't a made in America product have a 1/2" lag rather than a 13mm? Asking for a friend. Here in The Meat Studio we would impale ourselves on that rack What is the weight bearing capacity of those racks, do you know?
No not yet! I saw I've got a couple from you. I'll hopefully get to them today. Getting ready to go to alaska next week so trying to get all of my ducks in a row before i go. Haven't had a chance to breath the last week! I missed out on a bunch of prim opportunities on this one. Probably because burt was out of town. Haha I know, I realized that after I filmed the video using metric. Maybe I've been watching too much of Mark from Start Making Lately :)
@@FlynndoggWoodwork No, Dogg man, you can't watch too much Mark. Are you going fishing? I lived in AK for a couple of years in the seventies (when folks were still hiding from the lower 48 Law men; but not me). I'd go back in a minute, but Mrs. Meat ain't having it. Enjoy the trip, the mosquitoes are as big as starlings so bring your bug juice!
@@themeat5053 I wish we were fishing. The wife booked the trip. It's actually a cruise so I'll mostly be getting fatter. I went once when I was in my 30s with my dad and loved it. There were a lot of fires during that time though so was a little hazy. Too funny about your parents. Great place to hide out I suppose! I remember i got a little sign that had a mosquito on it and said Alaska's state bird last time I went! :)
@@FlynndoggWoodwork Parents? No, my wife thinks it's too cold and desolate. I'm afraid of her and won't go because they won't find the meat until spring thaw.
@@themeat5053 The meat without meat?? :). Oh I was just reacting to your comment about your parents running from the law! :)
Where was Burt? Too many lobes with terms like stubs, laying pipes, racks, etc? Perhaps he was in backyards laughing his head off
Oh man, you aren't lying! When I was editing this video, I was thinking how much Burt would have liked this one! Haha! Thanks so much for watchign LordHog! Really appreciate it as always!
Looks gimmicky.
It's really not. I've used this thing for a few weeks now and I'm breaking it out all the time. Time will tell though. Thank you so much for watchign w9jim!
for $150, this is stupid
Thanks for watching
