  • Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II took a comprehensive tour of the Manhyia Museum.
He meticulously examined the artefacts stolen from the Palace during the Sagrenti War of 1874 and recently returned from the UK and US………
Manhyia Palace hosted a Photo Exhibition on May 1, 2024, as part of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II's anniversary celebration.
The King inspected the display that featured a journey through his life, from his early days as a king. Showcasing moments of diplomacy, state visits, and encounters with presidents both within and beyond Ghana, the exhibition offered a glimpse into the esteemed ruler's remarkable life.

but honestly every Chief or traditional ruler in Ghana must thank Otumfour oo, because Chieftaincy was almost outmoded but he has made traditional rulers and chiefs significant in our daily lives again like it was in the olden days, people only remembered chiefs when they needed a plot of land to buy, all the attention was on the politicians, even Nkrumah wanted to do away with chiefs because politician don't wanna share the power of governance with anyone, Otumfour has revived the power of every chief, he's made them visible, they all almost went extinct in this modern era, if we Ashantis had not preserved our culture well it would have affected every tribe and chief in Ghana, that's why if every chief wants to gain popularity he attacks Otumfour in particular to get peoples attention, 3nny3 )pemso) aa anka ahenie 3twam........none of the people who drew the 1992 constitution was an Ashanti but know why they put his name in the constitution, "Asantehene and the paramount chiefs"

History is a dialogue between the past and present according to Carr. Knowing your history is essential in shaping your future. God bless Otumfuo and his able team for such great renovation. I know these will bring in more tourist thereby creating more jobs and more revenue. Piaaaawwww

Who koraa said "there's no king in Ghana"?
      Eeeii, where are they from?
      What is "King"?
"Asantehene" is even preferred by us to "King."
However, who needs constitution to define Asantehene as King.
So, when you see the reverence and respect of him by the world, the high pomp and pageantry associated with him, the authority and resources he commands, what does anybody wants to see again?
