    Thank you for drawing it up vs a 1 hi/mofc. Most videos coach's draw up 2 hi so they have a number advantage and I don't see a lot of 2 hi.

      Yeah no problem coach! I mostly see two high so that’s why I typically draw up the defense that way, but I’m trying to mix it up for others

    Love Wide Zone. I like to call it at the 1 for angles and to get a full scoop of the backside vs. the 3 technique

      Coach Newsome! Yeah running it at the 1 is great because of the natural angles you get on the front side. I also like reading the backside 3t and taking the BSG for the BSB to make it midline. It's a great change-up in the read key

      @@TheSpreadOffense yes sir, midline makes WZ really nasty.

    Thanks Coach. Love your videos! If I ran this out of Ram with a sniffer. Would I have him arc for the LB or block outside on the safety?

      Thanks coach! I would run it to a 3 man surface and have my sniffer get LB

    Thanks for video coach. Is there any key that center take over 3Tech DL? After flat 3 steps how center and RG decide who will reach to LB?

      @TheSpreadOffense  Před 3 měsíci

      Their eyes need to be on the 2nd level defender in their combo. It depends on what gap the LB tries to fit into. If he fits A then the Center is coming off for the LB. If he fits B then Guard will come off and Center will take the DL.
      Center will communicate by saying “you you you” or “me me me” for who comes off for the LB

    Is there an option for QB keeper on this? Or is it just an automatic hand off?

    • @TheSpreadOffense
      @TheSpreadOffense  Před rokem

      It's coached as an option, but with OZ its likely a give most of the time
