Once saved, always saved? Can you lose your Salvation? These are topics that have been debated down the years, but Hebrews 6, which is one of the most debated chapter in the New Testament and personally one of the toughest chapters for me, has some deep truths that we need to grapple with. Let's understand what the writer to the Hebrews means in this chapter!

Thank u for ur clear explanation of this topic as it means 2 things to 2 different groups of people: 1.Those who were once enlightened n who knew the word of God & shared in the gift of the Holy Spirit n in spite of all this don’t commit their lives totally to Christ, such people will fear about, losing their salvation. 2. True believers will never be afraid of losing their salvation because they know whom they have believed, their Savior, promise keeper, faithful, unchanging God , their redeemer , the eternal high priest who crossed over the veil giving everyone access to the throne of God.Jesus is our anchor & refuge. The gospel is Jesus + Nothing = Everything . There is a warning for those who try to add on to the finished work of Christ, those who remain in the boundary, they will never attain God’s salvation. Jesus did it all. Hebrews 6 ends with the hope & certainty in Christ & with the encouragement to progress towards maturity. Let’s strive towards living a faithful & victorious life & obtain the blessings which God has promised us.
