    I am now a strong supporter of brightwell. I used to use all Red Sea products and switched over to brightwell salt to start off with because it was just easier for me to get. I ran into some issues on a holiday and submitted a ticket online, Jack Kent called me back within 30 min himself. I spent over an hour on the phone with him just talking about my tank and the hobby. He was genuinely interested in my tank and my experiences in the hobby. He gave me his personal cell number to reach out to him anytime I wanted to pick his brain about anything reefing. We spoke about many things including powering my tank with solar which has nothing to do with any of the products they sell... After that level of support and customer care I received I changed everything I use on my tank to brightwell products. I use the salt, Reef Code A and B also I use the Magnesium, the bricks, their kalk+2 and Coral Amino. My tank and corals are doing great and I have no plans on ever changing from the brightwell products. Except I still have my red sea reefer lol!

      @@ReefDudes I highly recommend giving it a shot. They have good products, fair prices, and most importantly they simply care about their customers and our reef tank success. Also its nice that everything you need can be amazon delivered lol (at least here in the us)
      Btw been watching your channel for some time, really enjoy the content you put out!

    Brightwell is a Great company. When i called with a question the regular support couldn't answer.. they had one of the product chemists/scientist call me back in ten minutes and explain everything in detail. Incredible. Products show it as well.

    Great video. I love Brighwell! It is refreshing to see Jeremy not pushing products like essential elements and saying wc is enough BUT i have read so many people saying that after switching to all for reef their corals are growing faster and showing more color and only reason I can think of is the essential element's. I dont know if these same people rarely did WC b4 and thats why. I only doseMB7 and Clean to my tank and BRS 2 part. I do feed corals restor sometimes mixed with reef roids but the restor wants to float away from coral when I feed it alone. Whats the #1 important thing if any I should dose to a tank bedsides bacteria and 2 part If I change water every 2 weeks with Fritz? ? Are there any all in one products with vitamins, aminos and essential elements? Or am I good like I am not adding anything like jeremy seems to point out that wc is all you need or does he mean essential elements? What about aminos and vitamins, phyto, Iodine? I have never done an ICP because of fear of just chasing my tail! LOL I am having diatoms growing on new accrylic frag racks and walls near racks too and has killed some zoas!I cant seem to get coraline to grow in one tank! I had the same problem in my other tanks with diatoms frag racks and zoas but coraline took over and now all is good! Could it be to much silicates? I use BRS high capicity gfoI know some brands say kills silicates but then some people actually dose silicates! It also gets on walls too! Sorry so many questions!

    Been using Brightwell’s two part, pre mixed is the way to go, powders suck and are extremely weak solutions, I buy 5 gallon buckets, and only cost $12 shipping for 80 pounds, and are more than twice as strong as powders, I dose 100 ml a day, 5 gallon bucket lasts around 6 months , prettty consistent stuff!

    • @ReefDudes
      @ReefDudes  Před 4 lety

      Couldn't you just mix the powered to a stronger concentration?

      ReefDudes funny that you would think that, I’ve probably tried almost every 2 part, really, I first tried aquaforest 3 part on this tank, that stuff is very good, everything is included, but when my tank started to take off, I was dosing to much and $50 for about a month and a half is too expensive, then I did the ESV bionic, which is cheaper, but those 1/4 full bottles of solid bricks were too time consuming to mix, Brs new pharma powders are cheap, mix clean and clear in five minutes but then again didn’t do the trick, and also aquaforest and brs are weak solutions, meaning I was dosing 175 ml a day of alk and cal each, not that it’s a big deal but my doser is 5 years old and I didn’t want it to break, tropic Marin 3 part came next, spoke with Lou a few times, but then again, it is really really weak, now I was dosing 350ml a day, but it did mix quick and fast, but I did add the amount for 1liter in 1 gallon, which took longer to mix clear but it did and dropped my amount by 25% to 225ml daily, only thing bad is that the A,B, doesn’t last long, but the C, you don’t use allot and I went threw 2 boxes of A,B, and not even close to finishing one box of C, next I tried the powder Brightwell 2 part, the regular mix amount mixes well but then again very weak so I tried to mix the max from the label, the calcium never fully mixed no matter what I did, the Alk, I mix in the brs one gallon plastic jugs, well the plastic nearly melted , it went from a tall and thin container to a short and fat one, I literally couldn’t hold the container, I did call Brightwell, which has great customer service, they sent me new powders, and told me that the only way they mix the max is with industrial mixers and it’s heated, and their liquids are even stronger, so now I dose just under 100ml, and it’s better all around, I know u have a calcium reactor, but really for the price of all that equipment and media,co2 , you could have paid for 2 part for 8 years, and you still have to dose trace elements right? Unless u have a 300-500 gallon system that’s the biggest scam in reefing, next to the apex, I know allot of people have one, I just wouldn’t spend that much money for it, my opinion thx

      @@tsurro8086 Your not messing around! you really have tried almost all of them! On a side note you may be able to get a heated plate magnetic stirrer to mix them to a higher concentration :)

    I use aquaforest, happy with it, but I would love to switch to a good USA company like brightwell. I LOVE their easy guide for tank types for product use. One reason I feel i am successful. Any resource/guide like this for brightwell available or being developed?
