Their newest battery box is quite a bit better, especially on the solar input side. I love their smaller DC Loads box...that thing is really handy and portable.

There was some doubt on another channel as to whether the Next Gen Battery Box can out the full 2000 watt inverte'rs power with a single AC outlet. He said that these outlets are rated at 1500 watts. May require a mod to install a second AC outlet.
I like the original Licitti battery box better because it is more portable and only 1/3 the price.

I was trying to decide between an inverter and a power station, so this battery box will be perfect!! My wife is pissed off because I'm spending so much money on this stuff, but she will appreciate it some day when the world goes to complete $h!t. The power strip is a Kolbalt from Lowes. The hat is a Bucee’s hat, I’m from Kentucky. Solar can be addictive but you can’t have too much. Thanks for watching and commenting.
IS A Solar panel the only way to charge the battery inside without taking it out and using alligator clips? You can't plug this into a wall outlet to charge it?
You can but you would have to remove alligator clips and replace them with a Anderson connector.
You can pay a little extra and get an AC charger.
You just gonna ignore the fact that your dog is dying. 😂

How about upgrading the MPPT controller to a 30 amp one and mount it on the side of the box. Then you can charge the box with solar almost anywhere.
You definitely can do that. I have a 30 amp MPPT controller that I’ve been using on it. Haven’t mounted it because I use it for another battery box I made as well. Thanks for watching and commenting.
How do you change the AC socket to accept 230v 50Hz as in Europe we use 230v appliances. In the product description it states that you can use 230v. Thanks.

what cheapest battery will work on this box? can a lid acid battery work on this box? ever start 12 v battery?
One of the cheapest lifepo4 batteries is dr prepare (drprepare.com/100ah-lifepo4-lithium-deep-cycle-battery-connect-in-series/). You can use use any 12v battery. So yes your everstart will work. You will get your best results though with a lifepo4 battery. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Only one battery can fit in the box. You can’t really add additional batteries in the box but you can charge it from an additional battery through the 50amp Anderson port.

I tried to find it cheaper online, which I did, but the shipping was outrageous. AliExpress and Alibaba sell it for about $140, but they charge $200 - $400 for shipping! So, $55 is sounding pretty damn sweet right now!
I have this box with Dr Prepare battery inside but I ran it to 0, how do I recharge the battery inside without taking it out?
You can take the top off and hook a charger to the battery terminals and leave it in the box. (As long as it is a lifepo4 capable battery charger). You can charge through the 50 amp in/out ports of the Anderson connectors but you would have to make a connector to do that. Also you charge with a 100 watt solar panel through the black Anderson connector. I hope that helps.
