Think if they have 3 out of 4 members, they should be able to play right? That's how Valor took over Christian Death if I remember correctly.
I don't know if Kerry broke off cuz he wanted to do his own thing, or the circumstances of them breaking up. I guess I have to check.
But I mean there are millions of Slayer fans all over the world. Some of them have to be guitarists who learned how to play through Slayer tablature. I know personally, in 4th grade Seasons in the Abyss was all I wanted to play.
I think I'm trying to say there must be a replacement out there that could pull it off, right?
