- This week we're going on a tour of some neighbourhoods of Tokyo. I felt that Tokyo was a lot crowded the last time I was there. If you're like me and don't like big crowds join on a tour of the city’s quieter neighborhoods. Enjoy the traditional charm of Yanaka Ginza and the unique atmosphere of Kuramae. These lesser-known areas showcase Tokyo's cool and distinctive side, perfect if you're seeking a more relaxed experience.

I had the fortune of going to Japan 🇯🇵 for first time, a few months ago and I loved that country more than words can express, I wish with all my heart ❤️ that I will be able to go back 🙏 I watch your videos and I literally have to hold my tears 😢 when I see all the beauty of Tokyo’s daily life. My husband and I are starting the process of buying a second house/condo/apartment in Tokyo, and videos like this are so amazing for understanding various neighborhoods! Ohhh I want to come back to Tokyo! You went to some of my favorite places in this video! I think I might look into that apartment rental place for this Fall. I usually stay in an apartment near Shinjuku but I want to explore your side of Tokyo more! I'm from California but since I retired after Covid I have been coming back to Japan almost every year! Like most fairytale and folklore, kappa has sad and tragic beginning. During extreme famines, a woman would take the youngest child to the river and bash in the head, that is why the kappa has a bald head (like friar Tuck in Robin Hood). That’s why if a youngster misbehaves or goes to the river alone they will say “the kappa will get you”.
