Jacob portrays Tim with a wry sense of humour and a killer sense of being completely "together". He is turning out to be loyal but you also get this feeling he marches to the beat of his own drum and he doesnt give a shit what other people think. From the first episode I wanted to see more of him because he delivered a fantastic funny line that came out natural and sarcastic. Jacob Pitts makes me care about the kind of guy (Tim) who I usually wouldnt look at twice. MORE TIM!
One of my favorites! He played ex soldier to the max. They are usually quiet, not talk of their life in the military. With a look that says " don't fuck with me"! My brother, my son, and my uncle. I respect them very much. I felt they never let his character fully develope. He should have had more air time. Go Bless Tim, nora

@@cnashford2 Well Season 4 is when all the business with Drew Thompson and the Detriot Mob was happening. I think the subplot that is being mentioned here might be the arc between Tim and Boyd's old military buddy Colt. I also loved that through the season.
@@alphanerd7221 What do you mean 😂 Colt killed Tim’s friend and Tim had to put down Colt who sure tried to make him doubt himself just before his death. I do wish we got to see the affects more but there’s no doubt Colt affected him
"'I've been to Mordor but not through the mines"'. This line from Tim cracks me up every single time. I always love his dry humour, but never expected they'll throw a LOTR reference for Tim. But now it kinda makes sense, with the way Jacob explained about the 2 sides of a veteran being mature and when they switch off they go into this boy before all the training.

Okay, let me just write a little biography of him here. He's 32 (according to wikipedia) , he's handsome, gorgeous, adorable and everyone thinks he's cute. He was in The Pacific as Hoosier, and from there the co-creator Graham Yost offered him the role for Justified. The question is, why is he so under-appreciated and underrated for such a talented actor?
I liked when the hillbillies told him and Raylan that they had 10 seconds to leave and did a countdown, Tim's character said...."They're doing your bit." Great writing and great delivery of the line.

True. While serving in the Navy I would play poker with the divers on the ship. There was a Master Chief who was a SEAL in Vietnam. I knew without any doubt he had killed many times. He had the best humor of most people I had met. If I had not seen him in dress uniform I would have never guessed he was a SEAL.

NO Southerner has a Drawl, it's just the way we talk. I"ve only met one affectated southern accent outside the entertainment industry, and they did it to garner attention. In his defense though, he really was a box of rocks.
I am sixth generation American of French ancestry and both my father and I still speak with a slight patois. Also, my family moved from North Carolina in the 1830s to my present home country, and people still detect a slight accent.

The thing I really loved about his portrayal of Tim was the way he matched Raylan's to-cool-for-school vibe.
