Rubber stall mat or a piece of carpet to keep the antlers from getting concrete rash... Pet peeve lol.

  • @trapper7705

I've been using ya'lls process since the beginning....everything ya'll do is on the money and both you two do a great job of explaining it. Thank you very much and keep up the taxidermy videos.

Thank you for your step by step instructions! I’m going to try the brain removal before boiling next season. I’ve never tried the powder before. I just paint on the cream bleach. I’ll give that a try next season too. Thank you for all your tricks and tips 🤩

Hello! I just watched your video on the methods you perform upon whitening your deer & elk skulls.

  • @Leif1963

really nice of you guys to share this.

great video, I live upstate ny and do heads my self, wish I could put my heads out in the sun but this time of year there isn’t much of it and lot of snow on the ground. I boil with oxy clean and it seems to make the heads pretty white once I’m done pressure washing, I let them dry by the wood stove for about a week and I do the same whitening process. many ways to skin a cat👍🏻

  • @carmenmariacortesmarin2664

A lot of work! I'm amazed how well you know every step, since it's confusing to me. Great job!

  • @terrykizer3621

Thank you for taking the time to teach us!

  • @landonnafziger4882

Great video!!! Very well done! I recently have started doing my own skulls and a few on the side for extra money. I have always boiled my skulls but started using a hot pressure washer. What a huge game changer. They are not cheap but it makes the process go way faster. No need to boil anymore. If you are doing 500 skulls it may be worth looking into. Keep up the great work!!

Looks like a lot of hard work. If it works for you that's what counts. You tried someone else's way it didn't work out so stick to the way that works for you. Take care and stay safe. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.

  • @chicoestrada5183

nice work!! i use a spray bottle to get in the nose area works well and it get in all the crevasses, i take all the nose parts as well

  • @chadkolar6787

Great how to video. I run a side hustle taxidermy buisness as well and do roughly 100 skulls.y process is much the same as yours but in the whiting process I add heat. Just like processing hair under a heat dryer it activates the developer. I make my paste with Basic white and 40 volume apply it to the skull and then wrap it in a plastic grocery bag and place it near a jet heater for about 15 minutes. Wash and the sun dry. White as paper everytime as long as they are decreased well.
