You are the first person to explain the cage. You actually explain the kit associated the camera. Heck you know a bunch of jargon related to manufacturing. Handy. Here is my question: how quick is it to mount and unmount the car suction mount? Have you tried a mag mount? Your video deserves way more than 1700 views. Have you considered facing the fall of your pool room so your lines are straight horizontal and vertical?

I have the remote on my motorbikes handle bars. That way I can start and stop the 360 when it's mounted in various places around the bike that I can't reach the record button. Also shows battery and memory status. I also bought some mounts so it can quick mount on the same mounts my Action 4 does. that is Brilliant. Great video of accessories.

I used to think the software hid the selfie stick but it's just skinnier than the camera itself. I think they call it the fall line. I'm still learning. Thank you for the video. Awesome content.
No, the 15 foot stick is wider than the camera and still hides. It's in the camera with overlapping views.
my must have is the GPS Action Remote. i only just switched from a Gopro to the insta360 x3 very recently and have found the remote to be my favourite accessory. when I'm videoing on my motorbike i can stop and start recording without having to try and reach the insta or pulling over
Yea for cases like yours the remote is handy. I had the GoPro remote and used it a lot when I had the GoPro mounted to the jeep roll bar.
I'm getting a insta360 x3 and hoping to attach it to my son's stroller. So I am looking for a gadget to provide additional stabilization. I think that would be my I can't live without it. Thank you so much for such a well explained video. 👍
If you get the clamp mount with 2 attachment points it would work good. They are designed for motorcycles.

You were talking about the aluminum cage that goes around the camera, but you didn't mention the lens covers & screen protector. Why?
Just because I don't have them. I'm not overly concerned about the screen protector and the lens covers work OK for some things but you can see them in the 360 view
Thanks for your product run down, I’m waiting for my x3 to be delivered. Would recommend any lens protectors? I’m planning on recording motorbike and rock climbing videos but concerned about the lens being damaged.
For rock climbing I would say yes. Just remember that most protectors will be visible sometimes in the shot.

All selfie sticks are invisible. It's in the camera software and has nothing to do with the selfie stick.
Head mounts
Like the neck mount better. The head mount just looks weird because the camera is so tall
Do I really need to purchase both small and long selfie sticks? I mean that 10 ft long stick will serve both the purposes. Extended from 30 cms to all the way 10 feet. Isn't it a good idea?
You don't need to. But the smaller one is easier to stick in a pocket. The big one is kind of fat

Because I wanted to expand to videos about traveling the country and all the cool stuff rather than just RV Transport. Reach a larger audience and I was running out of RV Transport video ideas.
Why not just purchase the long selfie stick instead of purchasing the short stick and the long selfie stick. There must be some reason to have both. Please advise.
The long selfie stick is thick and harder to slip in a pocket. The small one is more convenient
The 3m one is so bloody think it can't be removed so is vizible

@TravelinTim well it depends if the position you are holding it for sure ..I bought 2 and both were visible at max 3 m and because both bend a tad ..I wish I was able to show you the images 😪 you can see about 10 cm from where yiu are holding it ...but maybe mines were faulty

The GoPro has a very superior video. To say the insta360 has a better video is ludicrous.
Maybe in your opinion. But the Insta 360 doesn't overheat either. In my opinion the video is better, you get 360° and the audio is far superior to any GoPro. Now if you want to compare the GoPro 360, picture quality isn't even close. The Insta360 beats it hands down. The new X4 is 8K and it's even better
@@TravelinTim I own an X4 and a GoPro hero 10. The hero 10 has a far superior video at 4K 60fps. Of course it is not a 360 degree camera. At 360 the X4 does 5.7 at 60fps which is a very good framed 1080 at 60fps, but does not compare to the GoPro because it is only 1080. But go back and listen to what you said in your video. You left the impression that the X3 gave better video and it can’t. It results in a 5.7 at 30fps and framed it is 1080 at 30fps and that cannot compare to the GoPro 4k at 60fps, it ain’t possible no matter how much you want it to be.
@@10000Islands that's like saying just because you have more megapixels it's a better image. That's just not the truth. Output quality, detail, color balance, white balance is all better in my opinion on the 360. Much less color grading in post, less noise reduction and 24 or 30 FPS gives them more cinematic feel anyway. Only need the higher frame rates if you're going to slow it down in post. The GoPro over sharpens everything and makes white edges blocky when you crop in post. The GoPro is fine for lots of things, I have several of them. I just don't use them anymore for most things except racing.
@@TravelinTim No, it is saying the video looks a lot better from a GoPro than an insta360 X [whatever]. And no, you can't get quality action video at 30fps, it has judder and always looks horrible. The idea that 60fps is only for slow motion is clueless nonsense. You said the insta360 X3 had better video, it does not, it is at 30fps, which is worthless for action video. You might try it and see for yourself, because you seem to think it is only for slow motion.
@@10000Islands I don't know why you're stuck on 30 fps the 360 can shoot 60. 30 FPS is superior for cinematic shots. I'm not sure what you mean by jutter. 30 blends the frames better for smooth shots. But if 60 is your thing, change your settings. Sounds like you are having a hard time with the proper settings.
