I remember watching this in 2007, I would have been 9/10 at the time, but I was still old enough to know that david tennent wearing a kilt was very hot. thank you good sir.
" I LOVE THE WELSH" Peter kay is a genius he knows how to manipulate a great song and he knows that the brilliant proclaimers, and the celebrities will give us nostalgia overload, AND SO WE HAVE A BIG HIT.
It's hard to beleve this was almost 10 years ago!! When I first saw this back on Red Nose Night 07, The moment when I saw David Tennant at 1:56 I was like, "OMG That's The Doctor!" So That's what he was doing after the events of The Runaway Bride and before meeting Martha!
you just made my day thanks for putting this up. i loved david tenant in the kilt. funny even though he was there he never got to meet the proclaimers he didn't get to meet them till the graham norton show! he's a giant fan of the proclaimers.
I just loved this video! Thanks so much for the upload, here in the USA we don't get to see Red Nose Day but I gave any way this year. I think BBCA should broadcast this to us as well. Great to see so many people just having a grand old time! David was happy to see The Proclaimers, his favorite singers!!! He looks so sexy in a kilt Woo Hoo!!
I’ve had a few mates say this was a piss take of those people, I always said it was the opposite . All those legends who were my childhood in a room together, wonderful.
Henrik sagts nicht David Tennant was (and still is) the most popular version of the Doctor (from Doctor Who) since Tom Baker and his scarf. I think the reason everyone loves him is because he just had something about him that captured people's imagination, like he really was the Doctor and you really were going on these adventures with him in his blue box... It's hard to describe, there was just this certain magic about his performance. And there's also that he's just generally a great actor, he seems to be a genuinely nice guy, and of course a lot of women dig him. That, and there's an entire generation who's childhood was largely made up of watching him in Doctor Who, dressing up as him, pretending to go on adventures with him... I think even people who aren't that keen on him have to admit that they can see why so many are
Jacob Curle Only bad thing about his Doctor experience was that the writers made him give his character an English accent, even though David Tennant is Scottish.
***** I don't think they "made" him, I think it was like a joint decision. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if it was David's idea in the first place. At the time, the Doctor had only ever had an English accent, and David is a bit of a Doctor Who perfectionist - in the Christopher Eccleston series the credits say "Doctor Who - Christopher Eccleston" but then when David joined he apparently asked for it to be changed to "The Doctor - David Tennant" instead of "Doctor Who - David Tennant" So I think David just wanted to make sure he did the Doctor "right" and let's be honest, if you're THAT good at accents it would be a waste not to use it.
why would you dislike this? its for a good cause? comic relief yeaaah, so dont dislike. this is just classic, everyone's having a good time and it makes me want to cry with laugther. :}
