- Today we have a Maymay Entarta Amakabogera reaction to the official music video of the song. Just yesterday I posted my Amakabogera reaction but the live performance Maymay did on Wish 107.5 FM. Since I loved so much Maymay's rendition of Amakabogera Live I decided to check out the official music video to better understand how she blended the vocals with the lyrics AND the visuals.

"Kabogera" pertains to a person who is a superlative of anything; someone who does his/her best, is impressive or successful. "Kabog" is anything that makes our heart thump with amazement.
So it implies that we should make the most of what we are given with, to be the best or better version of ourselves; but not in comparison with another person or other standards of success and beauty..

The message of the song is somewhat similar to Christina Aguilera's BEAUTIFUL song. That we need to stand up, and hold our head high no matter how simple or glamoirous we may be, still we are beautiful in our own way. We just need to learn to know our strength and embrace but at the same time improve our weak spots without hurting ourself and the people around us.
