Trim in Co Meath is named Ireland's tidiest town

  • The winner of this year's SuperValu Tidy Towns competition is Trim, Co Meath.
    This year’s competition saw one of the highest number of entries in its almost 65-year history.
    There were entries from 882 towns and villages across the country, with 80 of these first-time or returning entrants.
    The winner was announced at a ceremony in the RDS by Minister for Rural and Community Development Heather Humphreys and SuperValu Managing Director Ian Allen.
    Rosscarbery in Co Cork was named as Ireland's Tidiest Village in what was the first full-scale awards ceremony since the onset of the pandemic.
    Clonakilty, Co Cork was awarded Ireland's Tidiest Small Town, and Ennis, Co Clare was named Ireland's Tidiest Large Urban Centre.
