Interesting to note that Goku isn't affected by 17's debuff at all, the debuff activates upon ult use and when Goku fills up his gauge he cleanses debuffs, which in turn clears him of 17's debuff allowing him to hit for full power regardless
This is actually a bit of a strange interaction, as this ONLY works when you fill up the unique gauge with the main and immediately go for the ult. If you fill up the unique gauge before popping the main, or drop the combo, or go for anything else besides immediately going for the ult, then he gets hit with the debuff. My guess is that this happens this way because of the main being a stop time event, so the game registers the ult first, which triggers 17's debuff next, and then finally resolves the unique gauge increase (which gives buffs to Goku and cleanses the debuffs). It's good to know though!
@@LatimewThat itself is also good to know, Legends has strange interactions with what effects take affect first, although since you typically go for Goku's ultimate right after the main pop to fill the gauge I don't see anything other than that scenario happening often, fun stuff all the same though lol

@calebdonaldson7044 people have been asking for an RR rework since the game launched I don't see any indication of it happening anytime soon

I agree with the goku having higher highs and lower lows. The lows is when you accidentally mess up the charge step and drop the combo and die because of it. I’m not the best player in pvp so I drop combos.

Hey goresh if you want a really cool team to try, try running zenkai yellow cell and orange piccolo with 17 or SOH trunks on leader( imo 17 is better for the sustain)
For the bench I personally use green piccolo zenkai and fat buu zenkai and 21 zenkai for hp.
Could also use zenkai ex cell for half a zenkai buff for zenkai cell.
Got god rank with this setup before the s**Ty PvP update and I still use them and win basically every match.
Zenkai cell is fckin crazy with the damage numbers he can get

These grinds have never been worse in pvp, they really messed up this time😭
Tbh i think people are over hating this update, this is probably a hot take, but i have not seen a single bot from the matches I've played, I don't play THAT much rank, but i do play it to the degree i should've gotten at least 2 bots by now.
On the previous ranking system i faced either VB gofrieza or just someone VERY bad/bot, on this matchmaking ive faced a lot of competent players and with different teams all around, i actually fought for the first time my main team (we both had the same 3 fighters) UGB, Ultra hit and Zenkai ultra instinct (i gad the better team though since i had uni rep bench and UGB as leader, while he also had UGB as leader but had future bench) so yeah, to me it's been great, not too sure what others are experiencing though

I didn't even know ranked had bots. That explains all the people not vanishing long distance blast cards when they should have been able to and cover changing to sacrifice a good character to protect a bad character. Weird

Legends PVP is so garbage with all these units like the new Goku. Its honestly not worth the grind ESPECIALLY after PVP being overhauled 😅
PVP is near impossible after Platinum and above if you don't have the new units lol. The only way to win with a Sparking or LF team against a team of 3 Ultras is for them to make consecutive mistakes and you're on the top of your game
Ultra Vegito blue got countered and replaced plus mid ultra gogeta blue finally left top 10. Plus lf Goku and Frieza got countered and replaced. LF 4ku fell off bad and beast Gohan is not good and ultra rose fell off bad

That garbage Goku isn't gonna age once a strong green gets released. Doesn't even have the ability to go neutral, trash kit. VB's Kit is way stronger than any character in the game. Also, garbage Goku only damages Rose coz of boost and if Rose starts striking him, he ain't surviving 3 or a single blue.
