    Hey, in one of my client they have implemented purchase event but when u check datalayer in console the formats of value, tax and shipping parameters are in string.
    Could you please explain the impact of these formats? If it's not number

      The format NUMBER is mentioned in the docs however it's not necessary. Even if the value, tax etc are string i.e. "25" instead of number 25, it will still work. You can do a test event using the debug_mode = true and go to Ga4 debug view to see the event parameters.

      @@TrackingAcademy I know that GA4 will handle it itself but could it be a reason of transaction number discrepancy somehow?
      Also, if you could make videos on realtime GA4 custom reports use cases issue and resolution that will be great 👍

      Using the web events and GTM web, I have seen accuracy of 65-80%. With server side tracking you can improve the tracking to 90%

      Sure. I'll also look into that real time event videos. Thanks for the suggestion

    GA4 report does not match to ecommerce order. per-day 10 - 12 order does not tracked by GA4. did you know how to debug it ?

    • @TrackingAcademy
      @TrackingAcademy  Před 2 měsíci

      How much is the discrepancy? Is it between 65-85%? Also is it entirely a web or a server tracking setup?

      @soumyaroy6096 Před 2 měsíci

      10 - 50 percent. Web tracking setup using gtm4wp

      You can try moving it to server and check if it decrease the discrepancy. Also 10-50 is very big jump.
