Wow, that's an impressive Spidey collection! So cool you got them in the correct order too with Superior Spidey, Renew Your Vows, etc... Congrats!
Getting them in order was the only way to make sure that I had them all. It was a pain. I also had a few moments of panic trying to get them into the right order. Lol.
0:35 my holy grail from jump. I don’t care if it’s a .5. When my first son was born, he wasn’t but three hours old, and I was reading AF15 to him while swaddled in a Spider-Man blanket.
What a 🔥 run! Making ASM the title you want to collect is a feat. Good stuff.
I bought a label maker and put a little sticker legacy number on every single bag in my collection. Totally recommend it because then you can ignore the renumbering forever and flip through a series quickly
Recently started to support the channel and you as a content creator and collector. I’ve never been much into comic books except for Spider-Man. This collection shows what I’ve been seeing the whole time. A person who truly shows their morals in collecting through compassion, respect , integrity, and a genuine love for what the like to do. There is such a professionalism in the way you work and how you talk and show yourself and it reflects in these videos and collections . I’m not as much impressed with the comic collections but you as a person and what you bring to this comic book collecting community. I love it! I’ve been collecting asm since 1978 unfortunately I sold my af15 in 2014 my #9 is my worst copy. And I’ve read them all!

Awesome collection. I am working on my ASM run now as well. Limited funds so will be tough to get them early issues but doing ok so far. Collected a lot when I was younger (80's/90's). Only need about 40 total and only 5 higher than #50 so happy with where I am at.

I like the BCW bins. They are not cheap but they stack well unlike cardboard which can become pitted with stacking. Given the size of my room I need to stack. If you decide to pull the trigger use the link/code in the description of my video.
I know that the cardboard boxes lose some of their rigidity over time and the BCW boxes look like a worthwhile investment. Thank you for your time Regie and have a Blessed day 🤘
Impressive! When I got back into collecting this was one of the most confusing runs to figure out with all the reboots.

I have most of my ASM run in 13 BCW plastic short boxes, I organized mine a little differently 1-100 plus annuals 1-14 then, 101-200 plus annuals 15- 28 and so on up to 441 plus Volume 2, Superior, and Renew. After that its gets a little messy... I'm somewhat of a completionist, I went after all the prints. Also, all of the variants for every issue I could afford. I think I have a box that is labeled 800-801. I can't wait until I'm finished, I'm still missing issues 1 through 4 and 13 and 14... All the BIG BOY books. One day Regie, one day! Cheers!

Just wrapped up volume 4 and 5 need 2 more to complete volume 3. Issue 4 and 10. I might just buy them graded already due to the high price of them being raw. Working on volume 2 now. 2 years in the making hell of a journey.

As you know I have the same collection, minus issue 1 and AF15.
I also have the newstand and direct variants for volume 2 (Not every book had a different cover but a handful do!)
I then also have the Annuals, Tie ins and Decimal Numbers 👍

Amazing collection of Amazing Spider-Man!🕸🕷 That takes true dedication! I myself am collecting all Dr.Doom cover appearances and so far I’ve accumulated around 80 books so far through trading and purchasing. This challenge has certainly kept me busy and my bank account disliking me😂 Truthfully though it’s been a great experience that’s brought me to liking and reading many other marvel titles I wouldn’t otherwise check out. Keep up the great content!

Bro, thank you so much for posting…I’m not a completist, but had no idea the renew your vows and superior Spider-Man books were all a part of the LGY numbers. Damn confusing….I took a screen save of that ‘key’ you posted.
If you do a search for Amazing Spider-Man legacy numbers you should be able to find that graphic. It’s super helpful for being able to know what goes where. Good luck.

You probably know this already, Regie, but I would consider using bag/boards that are all evenly sized.
I once had my personal collection in a similar where all the bags/boards were all different sizes, and because of it, some of my books started having spine rolls.
Just something to consider. I wouldn't want to see that happen to such an amazing collection!
Always great to finish a run, especially one this epic. Good to see you collect the annuals also, not everyone who collects a run does that.

Lol. I’ve actually given away a lot of my ASM 110. I had 10 of them at one point. I’m down to maybe 5. I try to avoid buying them online versus in the wild. Wish me luck. 🤣😂

That's amazing spider-man run. I had a full Amazing Spider-man run i sold it years ago I ask one of the comic book store owners that help me complete the run to sell it for me. I would say it was a pretty bad decision. But currently I am working on a Batman volume 1 I just need about 140 more issues to go. Again thats a great Run of Amazing Spider-man its not easy.

Wow such a nice collection. I decided to start an ASM run this year. I just picked up a #6, but really focusing on a 30-50 run to start with. It's been a blast hunting.

I'm close to finishing that run too but unlike you I'm not counting Superior Spider-man. If it doesn't have ASM in the title, it doesn't count in my book. Very impressive!

Oh man. I had several moments of frustration. The numbers get crazy confusing at various points. Thankfully Superior Spider-Man was amazing so that sorta made it okay. Lol. I still haven’t read Renew Your Vows however. 🤣 At some point, I need to upgrade all the bags and boards. Talk about an undertaking. 😢😵💫🤣

Great stuff, Regie! When I decided to do my ASM run, I decided to pick the issue of the month/year I was born (#168) and finish through current day before filling in gaps pre-168. As of today, I am only missing #1 and AF15. THEN and only then will I purposely go back and try to upgrade some issues to a better condition (I hate looking at my #10 with rusty staples...).

You inspired me a long time ago to try and put together a complete ASM run. I can report today I’m less than 120 books away from completing the mission. I’ve always had these two questions in my during my journey. Taking grade and condition for every book out of the question what approximate value should a complete run of ASM hold? Also how many people do we think have actually completed the full run?
I have no clue how much it would be worth. I’ve actually never considered it.
You might be able to arrive at a number by looking at the average cost for filler books outside of the silver age. Silver age books would need to be valued based upon grade/condition.
I had been collecting but I just stopped reading around #55 (You Know the one) and tried to get back into it with the change over and new volume, but for me the magic is gone. I stopped buying ASM recently for the first time since 2006. Ill still look to fill in some of my silver and early Bronze age,

Love the background in your vids! looking to get a wolverine 1 frank miller. would you suggest going for 9.6 because thats the only thing I can afford or just save up and shoot for the 9.8?
Depends upon you bud. Why are you buying the book? To own it because Wolverine is your favorite character and/or are you trying to buy it for investment purposes.
I say and/or because you might be aiming for both and want the 9.8.
A 9.6 is a respectable grade. If you get it, would you be happy or regret not getting the 9.8?
Only you can answer these questions.

Awesome collection of ASM. Been picking up ASM everywhere I go. Quick question but how many would you recommend per short box with mylite bags?
You want to have some front to back movement in the box. A lot of folks think it’s about the type of bags and boards or the direction of the comics in the box but I personally think it comes down to pressure. To much pressure and the books get damaged. I can’t tell you how many because I don’t know the brand of boxes you are using, the number of boards inserted or the thickness of the bags (2 or 4 mil).
My full of thumb is that if the books can move back and forth slightly in the box, they are good.
man this vid makes me want to take another swing (see what I did there?) at a full run. At least from #1 and up. Not sure I could ever acquire an AF 15, but who knows. This entire run is fun, there are very few stretches where the title isn't full of cool covers, new villains, keys, etc.

I already had a decent amount of spider-man because he’s my favorite character. Once I set it as a goal it took a little over a year to make it happen.
Do you read your comics or do you read the omnibuses/trade paper backs?
I only read comics-hard copy or digital. I’ve never purchased an omnibus.
Why does your 5.5 asm 14 have the cgc number getting ripped with hobgoblin on the side?
I helped CGC to announce the new labels a few years ago but there wasn’t a version with Green Goblin. My 5.5 of ASM 14 is worth more than the first hob.

One by one. Well technically some were purchased in bulk. There are videos on the channel where I set the goal of having every book and give updates. If you search for Regie Collects Amazing Spider-Man you should be able to find some of the videos.
Are these solely for your personal collection or are you looking to sell in the future? Not asking to buy, just out of curiosity.
I have no intent to sell the books but I’m sure they will be sold at some point. Either when I’m older or by my children. It’s hard to give an absolute answer to a future event.
Regie Collects Comics should I buy an ASM #565 or a ASM #800? I can only buy one. The 800 is $27 and the 565 is about $16 plus shipping
Which one fits better with your collection? Are these raw or graded? Is the value of one likely to change based upon market conditions/dynamics? Which do you desire more? If the value one increased dramatically tomorrow how would you feel?
Answer those questions and I think you will arrive at the right conclusion.
