If everybody gets like few million dollars and goods and services stay stagnant, people will bid up the price for goods and services because at the end of the day, money isn't edible or enjoyable in its authentic form. Money is meant to be used for purchasing goods and services. Giving away money isn't good. Using the money to stimulate people to work and produce would be much better. Money is an incentive to award hardworking people. I think investing those money to incentivize entrepreneurs to work hard to invent things to speed up productions and make life better would be much more beneficial.
More reason for people to be lazy and rely on handouts (like all of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's constituents). He's a good man and he's smart about who he gives his money to, not for freebies I can tell you that.

I was once blessed with an opportunity to act alongside him in the 90's in the state of Perak, Malaysia together with my two young sons. The film was called Anna And The King.
I was a Nobleman and my two sons was his children.
Thirty years on now I still have the VCD and photos of this great man.
He certainly gave some popularity to Malaysia, as the filming location. Now the Billion Dollar Whale has taken over the highlights for the infamous reasons for Malaysia.

I have always liked him as an actor, his expression is full of love and compassion, so his story doesn’t amaze me. when I was working and living in Hong Kong Lamma Island , my apartment was next to his mom apartment and we often see him in simple flip flop, shorts and T-shirt, he married a extremely wealthy Singaporean wife and both are so down to earth and they even have a trust fund and will donate most of their monies to charity when the died.
