I used to own this bike before it got stolen. I love it very much. My personal view, it's very light, very responsive, very nimble, cheap to maintain because its single cylinder engine, torqy, fuel consumption very good. perfect for town riding, excellence handling tight corners at the countryside road. Brake is good. Suspension good and the best part is It's vibrate a lot. That is the special KTM's character....hahahaha..... I miss my bike......damn you thief(ves).......
Well the Svartpilen is much newer but the Duke has more power although it is older.. I think for less hassle probably the Svartpilen, looks smart and futuristic..

What filter are you talking about? I'm not sure what you mean.. You have oil filter & air filter.. Can refer to owner's manual for service/replace intervals..
I didn't try the new Duke, but I believe it should be roughly the same just with perhaps some KTM Powerparts stuff. The newest Duke should be coming soon.. 790 if I remember correctly. Thanks for viewing!
I don't think there would be any problem, the leg room is pretty good, but you can always get some aftermarket adjustable foot pegs if you need more leg space..

The heat is pretty standard, did not notice it being any more hotter compared to other big motorcycles. Any big bike in a traffic jam will get hot and you definitely can feel the heat..
In many countries where you cant drive all year around that is alot. In sweden for instance we have like 4 to 5 months of winter, very cold and often snow.

Good review..I owned the Evo stage 2 and been riding it for 2 years without any issue except tayar belakang cepat habis and sprocket cepat habis
Rear tire and sprocket wearing out fast is linked to your throttle wrist.. Hard acceleration/torque kills them faster. :) Thanks for viewing!

How far the bike can go until the fuel warning light turn on bro ???
On 8:51 I talked on this, I got roughly 248km before the fuel warning light came on.

2011 is more raw in power and torque, 2012 has been toned down and made to be more user friendly..
