      @@DroneSyndrome Haha must thin the herd. The Holystone drone typically have a really good build quality/finish. What typically lets them down is the fpv transmission, it's very short.
      Also a side note regarding the price of these types of drones. With how the hobbie is, a good quality no crash/hardly used 2nd hand Mini 2 Fly More Combo is typically selling for around £350 in UK at the moment and the standard Mini 2/Mini SE closer to £200.
      When we are talking those prices what would you suggest? I'd probably be telling people to try for a decent 2nd hand mini as a beginner. The price gap has closed.

      @@H8inLyfe I agree with you on the Mini 2 second hand and SE version for a beginner. The only downside to these are the NFZ’s and Geo-Fencing that makes the experience suck sometimes. But obviously DJI is the best manufacturer of drones in the world so no arguments there. It’s definitely a no brainer when it comes to quality and price compared to other brands that are lower quality with a high price. But that’s inflation for ya... I see the drone hobby dwindling from this point on to the years to come. Most drone manufacturers are moving towards selling to the commercial, industrial and private sectors and less to the regular consumer. Also, if you get one drone that is a high quality product and it works great for you, then keep it and cherish it until you need it now more. No need to keep buying the next big thing that comes out. It then becomes an addiction like having to have the next big Apple product. I too have been guilty of this-just saying. 😄

      @@DroneSyndrome Yes I agree 100% & with more people who aren't familiar with drone laws hounding pilots incorrectly with false accusations, along with other people who want to fly/are curious who don't want the hassle of meeting the requirements to fly legally/risk a fine. The drone hobby is thinning. Also UK-wise having limited times to fly due to weather. No wonder manufacturers are going that way. We'll atleast that means you could score a cheaper 2nd hand mint condish mini 2 that's hardly been used. 😅
      Hope you are well, appreciate the info. & discussion on this ❤️

    At 5:52, wait until the drone's lights stop flashing any red. Instructions say it takes 25 seconds which is about what I have experienced.

    Whats the best SD Card to use for this Drone please.

    • @DroneSyndrome
      @DroneSyndrome  Před rokem

      I recommend a card that’s U3 rated, has A2/V30 markings on it, and is 100MB/s (write speed) or more for the best performance possible.

    I think you need to accept the location and not cancel it so you can access map features and for return to home location

    • @DroneSyndrome
      @DroneSyndrome  Před rokem

      Yes, you need to accept locations to access map features, route planning and precise GPS location but the RTH doesn’t really need it, it’ll return back to the take off point where the compass was calibrated. I just didn’t accept it for this demonstration.

    Can you use Litchi with this drone to set up waypoint missions ?

    • @DroneSyndrome
      @DroneSyndrome  Před 11 měsíci

      I’m not sure of this. Maybe there’s others who have tried and have been successful but I myself have never tried it.

      @@DroneSyndrome Ok Thanks! So are there waypoint settings within the app then? Can you send it on missions at all?

    • @DroneSyndrome
      @DroneSyndrome  Před 11 měsíci

      @@Uncle_Buzz To be honest, I’m not sure because I’ve never tried it nor do I use that feature on any of my drones, unfortunately.

    Good enough as long as you can cancel the RTH, does it not fly over 50 ? COOL DONKEYS 😎 🆒️ 😎

    • @DroneSyndrome
      @DroneSyndrome  Před rokem

      Yes, it can fly up to 400ft in altitude but unfortunately, the app only allows a RTH altitude of 50 meters. Donkeys are always cool and smart😎

    • @normanacree1635
      @normanacree1635 Před rokem

      Once you hit RTH, instructions say you can cancel it, I think by initiating a manual move (up, down, forward, etc.)
