That is a 1978-1980 Grand Prix. In 1981, they got more aerodynamic. Nice looking cars. I use to see a lot of them in the 80s and 90s. Do not see any of them now.
Sorry to hear that. My oldest brother passed last Tuesday. I was on my way to see him and got as far as Nashville when they called to say he passed. 76 and I am 71
I installed car stereos back when that '79 Grand Prix was new. One guy came in, a well-heeled fellow, with a brand new one that he bought for his wife. He wasn't happy with the factory paint, so he took it to a high end body shop and had them repaint it in the original white, then color sand it and buff it to a mirror finish. On a brand new car. Then he had real wire wheels put on, Appliance wires IIRC. It was beautiful, super sharp. I did a nice stereo in it, and the two drove off as happy as could be.
thanks for crushing that car, sucks it got crushed. honestly didn't look like a lot of rust. but my uncle had one and i long forgot what it was. i thought at first it was a regal or cutless . but forgot about grand prix. glad i could remember now thanks

Lol those stupid 1st gen Acadias. The battery is under the floor between the passenger front and passenger rear seat. I just don't like Acadias in general. Still that battery location is not as much of a pain as in the Dodge Journeys 🙄

Friend of mine had a 78 Grand Prix like that. He put a 350 in it, got tired of that and put a 400 sm.block in. It sure went good.
