    Bought this machine a few months ago after having TL Kenmore Elite for over 10 years. Did exactly what needed to be done (level, spin, calibrate...) and the machine is absolutely awesome. Not sure how some can be so negative, maybe it's the competition writing fake news! Washer and dryer work great and look awesome!

    • @casarezc
      @casarezc Před 4 lety +3

      My parents bought the same washer and I told them the exact thing. . This washer isn't washing, just spinning slowly left then right.. hardly any efficient wash or agitation going on. I washed a load and the clothes weren't clean at all.. they called a tech to check on the washer to see if there's anything wrong with it and they said it was fine. I told them to change them (washer dryer combo) for something that actually agitates and washes, but they don't want to go through the trouble. Oh well. I don't know what the engineering department was thinking when they designed this washer

      +Reviews and How-to As an Italian cement leveller I can see that the lid slopes towards the front. As I saw in the video you checked the level on top of the lid.
      Look at the side view of the machine, and the lid slopes towards the front, very noticeably.
      I used the side panels at the joint line as my reference point.
      No adjustments required.
      Have done approximately 15 washes my opinion VERY noisy, grinding, grating sound 80dB on the water eject (both wash and rinse).
      Service person changed the pump , No change.
      No problem with the quality of the washes, maybe that is how they are supposed to sound.
      We may have heard if it sound like mine if you would have been recording at those points.
      Water sloshing is not very noisy.
      During the water eject, the the drum may be spinning 1000 to 1200 RPM, this high spin + the pump pumping air at the end of the emptying creates a whole new symphony. ~_^ that is my best wink.

    Actually, all new washers are in the minor leagues compared to the old school Maytag, Whirlpool, GE and even Frigidaire. You’ll get 7 years on average with the new washers (with repairs) while I’m still servicing units that are 20-25-30 years old that were designed before the HE bs. But to each his own.

    This shouldve been fully leveled and calibration mode done prior to test washing. Also side not pods dont dispense right in front loaders due to lack of enough water. I have a samsung washer similar to this and never had issues using the pods. Also mines doesnt have balancing issues and its sitting atop a rubber mat in a wooden floor and i live in a 3rd floor apt.

      +Reviews and How-to maybe the literature for your model was different from mines, but mines i remember it be explicitly clear to do calibration prior to use. Then it went down to say test cycles etc.

    I guess it’s not recommended for big families. It’s too much time consuming, plus it takes forever to wash. It calibrates every time you start it, it’s annoying. No it’s not better then the commercial machines. I rather a machine that I am 100% confident that will wash my clothes throughly. My review 0 stars. Huge space but can’t use it, pointless!!

    • @abornphighter8774
      @abornphighter8774 Před 3 lety +2

      It calibrates because it’s moving the clothes around to make them all even so that you don’t have too much on one side. I hope this info helps.

    Piece of crap. You put in a load of clothes and it puts in maybe 2 gals. of water to wash it with. Clothes in center didn't move enough to even get the folds out from when I put them in. Ran again, putting ketchup, grass, and dirt, and makeup on a white washrag then washing with towels. It didn't clean half of it out. Taking it back. You can't wash without water! duh......

      I've had it almost a year now. I've washed towels, clothing, blankets, comforters, pillows, etc. Everything comes out C L E A N. I use Tide Pods. Maybe your detergent isn't up to par. This (and most others) are high efficiency machines. They use very little water, and clean very well!

    • @frenchguy4888
      @frenchguy4888 Před 7 lety

      Yea, read the manual before you complain. Improper use of the machine, detergent, etc. will cause unsatisfactory results and it will be your fault not the machines.

    I have a similar model. Horrible washer. It goes off balance very easily then fills almost all the way up to try to correct itself. If you use anything except tap cold it will fill with pure hot water for several minutes then pure cold water for several minutes so if you have dark colors in your wash pure hot water will be dumped on them. Also dies not spin dry very well. I will not but this junk again.

    Would not recommend this washer, they have been recalled to exploding, it might have been way back in 2017 but they are still known for exploding to this day, still! I have never owned one since, but my grandmother used to have one, and I would always stand next to it, while spinning! That was before I knew they could shake so bad they could blow up! I will never own a samsung washer in my life!
