Because her dad is English and her mom is American. She spent the majority of her childhood between London and the States.
She's literally Phil Collins' daughter who is one of the most famous British singers, but grew up mostly in LA that's why she's naturally fluent in both accents

I wish she was in more movies and I wish she would sing more! I just watched her in Love, Rosie and it was epic! Brought me to tears many times! I wish her shows weren't on Netflix.
Love Rosie is fantastic, I adore it. Some other movies of her are To The Bone, City of Bones, Extremely Wicked Shockingly Evil and Vile, Abduction, Inheritance, and Stuck in Love. Definitely try and check those out if you haven't already :D

If there was a biopic on Audrey Hepburn Lily Collins would be the perfect actress to play her. Her look in Mirror Mirror was clearly based on Audrey Hepburn and she fit the role like a glove. She’s just so beautiful. She was the perfect Snow White for me.

Ah, Mirror Mirror. An absolute masterpiece. The costumes were so fantastical and fun-looking and unique. I've never seen anything like those costumes and I really loved Lily in that movie. Haven't seen any of her other movies but that one was so good.
