Gatorlyte is like pedialyte but with a small amount of sugar.. may be easier for you guys.. or dilute Kirkland sports drink with electrolyte water.. Kirkland uses real sugar 👍
I have COVID and it’s pretty mild for me but I’m having bad gastrointestinal issues and I can’t hold anything down it either gets pooped out or thrown up I’ve lost ten pounds and I’m starving even with the loss of appetite symptom if there’s nothing in your intestines then obviously you’re gonna be hungry please what I can eat that will stay in my body Edit: yes I am alive!
I'm so sorry you went through that, I hope you're ok. If ever can't keep anything down for more than three days you should go to a hospital for an IV. You quickly get nutrient deficiencies and dehydration that can become very dangerous.
She didn’t say anything about a mild laxative to speed things up. Maybe the pain would get worse doing that. I’m surprised doctors don’t have remedies for these painful ailments since they are so common. Headache pills, pain pills, laxatives, why can’t they have something for it. A friend of mine took his wife to the emergency clinic after she couldn’t even keep water down. They put her on an iv It sounds like they don’t want to help you.
While I was working hard to clean the street, someone used the key, which came into my apt . And mixed shit water into fresh made potato salad. Believe it or not, when I opened the lid, there was a very strong sewer smell that came out of the salad, I have been cleaning the street for years , I know the sewer smells very well .
It disturbs me a lot that doctors are recommending things like Gatorade totally artificial synthetic stuff. I just went through gastroenteritis yesterday and I ingested Melissa officinalis when the nausea and stomach discomfort started. I also had some fennel seed extract. I ate a little bread with butter when I was feeling a little bit hungry and my stomach sent symptoms started all over again. I started to feel really sick yesterday around 4 then everything came out from both ends I have fever and chills, took no meds whatsoever and kept on taking sips of Melissa tea for hydration. I stayed in bed and now at 1:30 a.m. I'm fully awake and feeling much better thank God with a very slight headache. In the morning I have all of the cleanup to take care of because I live alone and I am allowing myself to recuperate some strength. No Gatorade or ensure for me thank you! I tasted ensure about fifty years ago when I worked at a hospital and it was totally disgusting! I was 18 at the time and I used to ask myself why the family didn't bring in natural juices and foods for their sick relatives
I had taken care of my bedridden mother on Tuesday and she had the severe projectile runs and vomiting all day long. I had to change her three times and I washed my hands about 500 times that day, every time I went near her I would wash my hands thoroughly and I wore gloves, but two days later I was in the same condition as her. And someone I know kept on insisting that I have no proof I caught it from my mother!
