As a taynew fans I've never wanted them to be together or something, I just love their friendship so much, they care a lot about each other. They are really comfortable, at first I thought it was just onscreen for fans but actually offscreen too they are same! Taynew are my favourite onscreen couple. I love seeing them together just because nothing it's awkward between them.... I don't know the reason, it's their private matter, but I hope they'll be like before a very good friend... I miss them so much😭
Agreed . I never saw them as a couple even after the series. I really liked their friendship, and they never actually flirted like other couples. Two best friends, where ever they went, they used to light up the whole atmosphere around, so much fun they used to have before. Hope they get whatever is best for them.

To be very honest, I never wished for them to be a real life couple or sth as I knew taynew is just an onscreen couple, there’s a need to separate it from reality. But of course I always knew their strong friendship was real and not for show. And I always respected new having a gf, both of them having their personal lives. I loved taynew a lot cos of their amazing chemistry and the strong friendship they had. I see many comments self blaming us, the fans, so I wanna use this situation to bring light to a deeper and bigger issue. The ship culture is toxic but we all drink and contribute to it.
Companies selling their ships as real is the starting point. We do love it and it sells, but If fans fall that hard is because they make it all taynew instead of petekao, same with the rest of the couples, they sell it as if it's between their real selfs and not only the roles they play, from the skinship to the merch, to the interviews... so even if fans get too carried away, the delusional mindset is created and fulfilled by the companies and the guys playing around that illusion as well. It's similar as with the perfect pure virginal image that many kpop stars portray in order to be seen as available and the perfect boyfriend/girlfriend.
When we get feed that way it's easy to end up falling into the fantasy and feel the betrayal if the bubble suddenly breaks. We are all responsible, companies, anchors, photographers... and artists and fans as well.
@@justrandom3864 i disagree. During 2018 I lived in Bangkok and it's definitely not their culture but an industry planned around that marketing tactics. I guess you didn't understand my comment about kpop, because I used it as an example as another industry that plays around selling a type of image, much different of saying that their image is the same. And yes, overall in thai culture they are a bit more open in some aspects, but it's not an open culture as one might think from this kind of series, even for skinship. I went to events were this guys kissed and touched in public in a way that it's totally not ok to do in public for all of us citizens. I had a boyfriend half thai half Japanese and we followed the manners so trust me when I say that they break them in real life, and make fans believe that maybe between game and game? Joke and joke, reality may happen, that's what they sell. I play a role in that culture as well, because we all fans buy the fantasy and play along but they and everyone around the industry have a share.
I agree with this. Fans should not be the only one blamed for this ship culture since the company’s (including the artists’) job is to make people ship their artists and they should already expect crazy fan behaviors (not defending this). However, I still personally think that this “overly-shipping” thing was not taynew’s problem. Something might have happened between them that’s none of our business. I'm glad they're ok now tho
i agree. I think that probably what New wrote on face after that and how he acted overall made Tay feel betrayed. He said things like everything that we see between them is fake, I'm sure that he never meant all that and was the pain talking, but that's why you have to cold down before speaking. Probably more things happened that we don't know as well. Let's see if with time they can at least make thing better. Loved their bond and New was really cute and nice to fans at least in 2018 when I saw him, he even danced cutely to my camera at the Our sky press conference 😂😂😂 I wanna choose to believe in them.
I strongly agree that anything that happens to this ship shouldn't blame on fans (us) and that's a fact. We are just dependent on what they are portraying so it's a must for us to react and to be emotionally attached because it's our nature.

Meow Meow Just giving my personal point of view on the behavior of so called “fans”... who literally do not see the difference between acting and real life anymore... just because their acting and chemistry look so real and evidently give us some reason to think they might be really in a relationship. But like i said, these are ‘only’ thoughts and assumptions... nothing more. So every fan who’s going overboard with wild speculations etc... is just fantasizing in a hardcore way based on medial resources. Honestly, i would very much like to ship Tharntype in a “real” relationship BUT these are only my personal “thoughts”. And it stops right there... any further wild insinuations and theories would be... obsessive and not “realistic” ... 😊

I feel sad for them, I just watched Dark Blue Kiss and I see a lot of speculation that they're infact together, but I just choose to forget this series altogether cause I am refraining myself to think of that way and become one of the toxic fans that forces them to be together.

I think they should start hiring openly gay actors to portray gay roles because I think problems like this will be minimized in the part of the actors and the fans. @@Meow-ow6oh It's not a problem od gay or straight in case of TayNew.It's a problem of TayNew's internal relationship.They have been best friends for a long time since 2013.They dealt with all kinds of fans and such.But this problem even though was started by fans,wasn't the problem.The problem was how New reacted to it making Tay feel like New didn't trust their friendship enough to openly discuss it with him like before.Maybe New didn't want to bother Tay but the unintended consequence was Tay thinking he didn't value their friendship.Give them time.Time will heal.

Anyone can tell that there is something bad happened between them and I read some of the posts by their fanpage where off posts a pic with taynew and that fanpage describes other people haters because many people are saying there is something wrong between them and I feel so shocked because if we sense everything it doesn't mean that we are haters. They have to come close because now there is fanmeet preparation but you can clearly sense that there is something wrong between them. I always say that please ship couple only at their workplace don't take it too seriously. They also have the right to love anyone they want. Don't target their real life partners they are almost 30 now and it's their time for marriage and spend their life with their partners. People seriously need a reality check.
The lack of interaction in their IG post is killing me. I used to remember the times whey taynew were each other in the middle of the night just to talk to each other coz they can't sleep. Maybe is just me looking at them more differently but I see them both wanting to renew friendship like before. I don't know why or what happened but it seems that they both got hurt by the other and neither one knows how to show how sorry they are or best way to reconcile. Body language could easily have changed to sit closer, hold hand, hug arm around shoulder but each was keeping distance for fear of making things worse. Never thought of them as real life couple, loved their acting chemistry and was big fan of PeteKao but also thought had good friendship chemistry in real life. Maybe they both got tired of all the BL cpl thing interfering with the real life friendship. Not always easy to be what other people want you to be or expect you to be. Fans should support them for their acting abilities not for some imaginary off screen relationship.

Personally, I’m a huge polca fan but I never wished for the two of them to be together in real life. The reason I fell in love with Tay and New was solely because of their genuine friendship. Their videos before seemed like they sincerely enjoyed each other’s company and both their characters just fit so well together. I would like to believe that they’re truly okay behind the camera but something tells me they just aren’t how they used to be. Tbh I could care less if they choose to individually grow in their respective careers but I do care about the status of their friendship. I hope that no matter what life throws at them that they would still have each other’s backs - that, at the end of the day, they’ll find their way back into their friendship. 🥺❤️
exactly!! as a polca for 2years I don't care about the shipping more than their friendship. Its their friendship that I've loved the most, its just so pure that I really hope external factors don't affect it. I really hope they are just maintaining the distance only on screen because shipping made them uncomfortable and hope that they are okay off screen. They were seen entering the Gmmtv building together and even after the live ended they went to grab a lunch together apparently. I care less about the on screen interactions they give us. Like you said they will eventually find their way back into their friendship, because 8yrs of friendship is not something you can abandon easily.

IMO frankly its getting to the point of being embarrassing. GMMTV needs to now stop forcing them together, they don't want it. The dynamics between them has clearly changed and New has clearly chosen to distanced himself from Tay. New has changed so much and sorry to say not for the better. I was told growing up "Don’t trust people whose feelings change with time. Trust people whose feelings remain the same, even when the time changes." Feelings don't have to be romantic but the friendship will never ever be the same as before. 😔

I agree that New has changed a lot. But I think he’s self preserving in order not to get hurt. When this distance started, he had mentioned that it’s Tay who stopped talking to him and replying to him. I love Tay so so much but I can totally picture him doing that. just got into taynew, kinda sad what happened to them now..seems like tn don't want to be ship anymore, especially new, he didn't wish hbd, didn't celebrate dbk anniversary, etc.. but i believe they are still close friend because the similar ig caption, their small interactions during interview, its rare but its there.. maybe if fan didn't too hard for them, they will be more comfortable to show their closeness again?.. idk

I am addicted to BL but not to the point that I let my delulu self takes over and shipping the couple in real life. But maybe the actors should also prevent or limit themselves doing a lot of fan service because they are feeding the hard core shippers to the point that their personal lives is also affected. I love TayNew and it is painful to see that even friendship they cannot keep it and destroyed.
