Season 11, Episode 130 April 15, 2003 The Tonight Show With Jay Leno Dustin Hoffman; Chris Matthews. Music guest: Maria McKee. still can't believe this is nowhere to be found on the web..do you have any other connections that might have it?...you have no idea how far deep I've gone looking for it :) secondly, there's supposedly an even more bonkers version of Lone Justice's "I Found Love" on some late night British talk show than some of the ones up here already, would love to see that too
Sorry to say that I haven't turned up either performance you are looking for. I am about 3/4 through my collection, so there is a slight chance that one or the other may turn up, but it is looking less and less likely, since I cannot remember recording either of the 2 appearances you mentioned. I have no recommendations for seeing them elsewhere, for the moment, I'm afraid. Glad you are happy with the clips on the channel, though ;)

Who were the backing singers, particularly the tall one with long black hair? I think I've seen her as a lead singer somewhere.

Susan Otten is the taller of the two backing singers. Tammy Rogers was the shorter one.
