What a stunning set of tracks! They bring to mind flying unaided through the tree line of a beautiful fantasy forest and witnessing a gorgeous landscape as far as the eye can see! Then seeing a desolated city in the midst of the landscape and encountering the very thing that can save a desolated world! It’s absolutely sublime! Lovely job, Ioannis! Tybalt's orders were followed with the precision of trained soldiers. The rally point had been a mess when he'd arrived.
Not only the remaining forces of the spaceport, but several other regiments, each from a different world, had also been forced to regroup here. It had all made for a disorienting mess, until the Lord-Captain had stepped in to overrule individual commanders and their conflicting orders.
That mess had slowly come to look like the Imperial warmachine was supposed to look. Thousands of soldiers marched in their formations, preparing to be reassigned to new fronts.
Tanks rolled past, each being informed of their new assignments as they moved.
Tybalt had requisitioned them all. And given that there was no one to overrule him, they all meekly went along with it.
Galaethon was going over the numbers.
Fuel reserves, priority vehicles, ammunition supplies. Estimates said they had more than enough. Experience told him it might barely suffice.
Numbers of guardsmen, average accuracy during their training, kill counts per regiment. These numbers alone took most of Galaethon's time, as he pondered their usefulness.
In a moment of pensive thought, his eyes fell on another dataslate entirely, that wore the symbol of the Adeptus Mechanicus. It hadn't been there when he'd arrived, but then a lot of these dataslates had been brought in while he was already working.
He picked it up and smirked.
This'd do nicely.
"It must have been quite something if it got your nose out of the dataslates, brother."
The words were friendly, spoken in jest. Yet the very fact that Tybalt had not removed his helmet already told Galaethon enough. The Lord-Captain wasn't quite the actor some of his brothers were.
"It could be what wins us back the spaceport, my Lord."
An elevator platform took them deeper into the base, to a rearming facility that was almost the size of a small city. It had been built weeks before the war had started, a testimony to the architectural efficiency of the Iron Bulwark.
Inside, many vehicles were rearming and refuelling.
Many damaged machines were either carefully restored, or in some cases quickly patched up so they could move out on short notice.
But it was not the Russes and the Earthshakers that drew the attention of the two Astartes.
At the center of the building, next to the shrine of their machine god, their Omnissiah, two massive walkers were being rearmed, as dozens of robed servants reapplied their liveries.
Both knights easily stood ten meters tall, and they had the weapons to reflect it. One in the Gallant conformation, its arms mounted with a massive chainsword that could cleave a tank in half on one side, and a thunderstrike gauntlet for when the chainsword wasn't quite enough on the other side.
The other was a Crusader pattern, wielding both a heavy Avenger gatling cannon and a rapid-fire battle cannon. Their mirrored livery became more and more visible, the longer their servants got to work.
Aside from their main armamaments, they were in the process of refitting new carapace weapons.
"No one's had the pleasure of speaking to the pilots yet, my Lord, but the engines are listed as th-"
"The Twin Blades of Terrenof. I know of them."
"That is not how they are listed."
Galaethon sighed, before continuing.
"Must have been a mistake at some point in the administrative-"
Tybalt raised a hand to silence him.
"They've earned those titles fighting side by sight with my brothers, even if none of us have ever seen their faces. Leave it as is, the Twin Blades of Agrennon will suffice, if they so wish to be addressed."
Galaethon nodded. Such a title was not easily given. The Blades never spoke of their home in vain, nor would they grace undeserving souls with its name.
He would be the last to question their decision to name these Knights as such.
"They have offered to join our assault. They will walk with us to retake the spaceport."
This got an approving nod from Tybalt.
"Rejoice then, brother. The hour of our vengeance draws ever nearer."

The space fabric workers are mostly from Neptune. This music with the graphics photo reminds me of a people some people call the space fabric worker's. This dark universe ( your in now ) uses lost souls in it's making of the dark fabric. BUT there is a small square area within this dark universe that has a white fabric, made from ONE enlightened saved soul, was used to make it. With in that location is totally sinless, evil can't get into it or wouldn't want to. There is a road block and bridge over this space in time in the viewers of the perilal world's only one can get around it, very evils ones left behind. The next highest of high heavens will be put there, in this white space fabric location, in the future. These people ( space fabric workers ) have a interesting bingness, I brought some her from my deep space program in 1977* they love it hear. But they remember there old life's and there old worlds, God has great plans for them and they are protected and loved by God. They have a lot of interesting incarnated life's to live here, I now where they all are at, mostly. Anyway this music reminds me of that. Cool tunes !
Desert voice suffers a bit from noise (in my opinion) the melody and vocals are great, but the music is a bit too loud so it drowns it all out as if it's trying to turn the desert into an action movie scene
it's a good track, but I would've loved it more if it was a bit calmer, I think
