Madness performing 'One Better Day' on 24th May 1984 as part of a four day music extravaganza at New Brighton in Wirral. See www.madnessontv.com for more details.
WOW! I last saw this 30 years ago, I taped it off the telly with my mum's betamax video recorder. I remember Suggs looking cold and Lee running to the end of the stage. Nice to see it again, but kinda sad too, I was 15, 47 now, where did it all go?
now i'm a really old fan..but did Suggs ALWAYS perform like he was in an invisible cold shower?
this was not long before the splitting up , most of these live performances back then are not live this sounds exactly like the album version lol
Thank you for this wonderful sharing. I am French aged 55 and a fan of Madness since I was 13.
How great it is... So much feeling... Fine stile that no other band has.

I taped this at the time too and know exactly how you feel. It may have been summer but looked cold up on that stage for sure
Well here I am 54 and still watching and remembering.
