      Then your coach sucks my high school coach who played college ball always says never give up on the play. It's like if you knock the ball down to your left you just give up on it and make the second baseman pick it up instead of not trying to get the play. Your team must suck if you just give up on the ball

    • @xGoldenGlitchx
      @xGoldenGlitchx Před 8 lety +3

      +TeamChallenge that's not the same situation. If you're a right or left fielder, you go to get the ball if you miss it on a dive. But if you're the center fielder and miss it on a dive, you let the corner outfielder closer to you get it instead

      He is safe, it was an obstruction call on the catcher for purposely getting in the runners way of the base path, when he pointed at the runner, he was pointing at the collision and then him pointing at the plate which shows the base he automatically takes

    • @CroomRulz
      @CroomRulz Před 9 lety +4

      First of all, it is NOT against the rules for him to jump over the catcher. Second of all, he didn't jump over him. He ran into him and got flipped. The catcher was standing in the base path without possession of the baseball when the collision occured, therefore the runner would've been awarded home plate if he had been tagged out.
