You could try bearings instead of low range gears. I’ve done the bearing kit recently ands it’s transformed my defender. Crawls well in stock speed gears now and is fast enough to walk with in trail driving
Thank you for the comment. To be honest I not got the question 😊 Do you mean, compare to Defender and Bronco body? If so, I did not experienced yet ordinary, non High Trail version. For sure, center of gravity is higher, so some mods definitely needed to make it really crawling capable. But still, surprisingly good even stock

Thank you for the hint. I was waiting for some parts at that stage, and then switched all to ball bearings a bit later. Yes, it really change a lot
How good is it out of the box ? This or the Normal on ?
