I view the people who use those terms to beat someone else up because of their views and no one wanting to meet in the middle. In 1963 our family was going to entertain people who are Marching with Martin Luther King to Washington DC for the Poor People's March, where Martin Luther King delivered his I Have a Dream speech.
When a Confederate flag flying neighbor found out he threatened to blow up our house and drove up and down the street for 8 hours flying his Confederate flag and the police didn't say a damn thing.
