As a 40 something dude who recently discovered this group, I have been struck by the quality of their dancing and dedication to their craft. However, I have noticed that their focus seems to be on their dancing rather than their musicianship, with the exception of Rose. While I appreciate the visual entertainment they provide, I believe they could better showcase their innate musical talents. They give me the impression that they are more of a dance group singing karaoke than true musicians at heart. To me lip syncing at a concert, with such an amazing band behind you is a crime. Nonetheless, I have the utmost respect for their efforts and the path they took to get where they are, I just don't care for the fake singing. Additionally, I have noticed that some sections of their songs bear a striking resemblance to those of other R&B and pop groups from past decades. Do you agree?
They can sing. Search for Last Chrismas here on youtube and you will see they can sing live. But blackpink songs aren't exactly everyone's cup of tea because it's 90% EDM/hype/club songs. It is sing AND dance. They have backtracks to help them because you really can't sing properly when you do high intensity dance. Nobody goes to Blackpink concert and expects an opera. It aint a singing competition. With Rosé, she has better vocal technique because she is the main vocals but even then you will notice that her dancing is severely compromised. She is out breath most of the time. You can't really judge Blackpink from behind your phone, you just need to be there live to understand they are great performers. If you'd want to go to a concert with pitch perfect singing, I would suggest Ed Sheeran, Celine Dion, Adele etc.
Every second she moving her body ,she singing with swag , and most important lot's of time in this world tour she is sick but every performance she gave her 1000%
