He is a gem. A mixture of statesmanship, self belief, ability to articulate one's view, and confidence that India needs and deserves, he is one of the best foreign ministers in the world right now. He reflects a confident India that is vocal, that is confidently protecting its interests, that does not worry about what bigger power will react, that stands its own ground without toeing somebody else's line and that demands that respect that it deserves. Kudos also to PM Modi for picking him - a great leader picks and builds a strong team around himself, and that is what PM Modi has done.

A gallon of gas in my area is 7$ , and i paid almost 8,000 rupees in your estimates, around 85-90 dollars of getting my gas tank filled so i can drive my car. And that's just for 1 week. So when you say "pakoda economy," also take in to account that economy works on global crisis and national issues. And India actually did extremely well handling its finances during Covid and post covid and didn't turn in to sri lanka, Pakistan or nepal. Heck even the chinese economy is suffering. So it not just India. And as for joblessness, which is the major issue for most Indians, that has to do with 3 things: 1. Population is high and resources are low 2. Nepotism and corruption in employment (which is a local level issue not a national level one) 3. Selectiveness in job choices of Indian youth.
It is with leadership like S Jaishankar and Nitin Gadkari who have clarity of purpose and India's welfare at home and on the world stage that will make India'a great nation and an example to the international community. The US is a classical school bully and the West is aligned due common or business interests only. He reflects a confident India that is vocal, that is confidently protecting its interests, that does not worry about what bigger power will react, that stands its own ground without toeing somebody else's line and that demands that respect that it deserves. Kudos also to PM Modi for picking him - a great leader picks and builds a strong team around himself, and that is what PM Modi has done.

A gallon of gas in my area is 7$ , and i paid almost 8,000 rupees in your estimates, around 85-90 dollars of getting my gas tank filled so i can drive my car. And that's just for 1 week. So when you say "pakoda economy," also take in to account that economy works on global crisis and national issues. And India actually did extremely well handling its finances during Covid and post covid and didn't turn in to sri lanka, Pakistan or nepal. Heck even the chinese economy is suffering. So it not just India.
And as for joblessness, which is the major issue for most Indians, that has to do with 3 things:
1. Population is high and resources are low
2. Nepotism and corruption in employment (which is a local level issue not a national level one)
3. Selectiveness in job choices of Indian youth.
