My Opinion On Twilight Masquerade Has Completely CHANGED! Pokemon's newest set, Twilight Masquerade, has been out for 1 month as of this video. And IT'S ACTUALLY GOOD. Lots of people early on weren't excited about this set, but over the course of the first month, I think a lot of people's opinions have changed, including mine. Plus, the market values are showing that this set is actually a lot of fun!

We are in a dead period though, with no new cards coming for a few months, so the greninja and all these cards are what is most fresh to chase. Once the wheel starts up again lots of this will drop.
Yea i don't disagree with this, but it's a pretty normal schedule... a little over 2 months in between sets
I think people are just investing into scarlet and violet more than sword and shield now. Every case except for base set is 600$ plus now

I do personally also really like this set. I hate the mask cards but almost all of the IRs are super legit and some of the SIRs are great also
My opinion hasn't changed I still think it's the 4th best set of SV not counting 151. I think its interesting that so many peoples opinions have changed. Makes me laugh how much perception changes based on the general perception and value. I had a discussion a couple weeks ago about hit rates/ value and what makes people want sets and I just find it interesting so many people argued against hit rates being so important to general perception when everything I've seen points to this being the main factor.
I wanted to skip this set too, but got a great deal on a booster box and said why not. Pulled the hearthflame oger and gotta say...i have never been so underwhelemed pulling an SIR prior to that. Sure the infernape, eevee, chansey, pinsir and growlithe are cool, but unless you get that Greninja, idk about this one...
I HATED the set pre release.. but after opening 2 BB and getting the two top chase cards I am now bias 😅😂 got my a sealed case for $520

I think a lot of us can relate about being awkward or being introverts. Remember, you’re doing something that most of us might be afraid to do or don’t have the confidence of doing and that’s putting yourself out there. I’m shocked at how well twilight masquerade is doing and I hope it continues to do as well because I’m going in hard on the set very soon lol.
I pulled the Greninja and it graded a 10 should I sell or hold there’s currently on auctioning for 700 with 31 bids 5 days left 😮
Everyone is waiting for the Team Rocket set and the dragon set. If they turn out to be underwhelming, I think PE and TM could go crazy.

Some of my fav cards of this set are actually not the expensive ones. I agree that I think it will come down, but this set has completely exceeded my expectations in terms of how much I like opening packs of it
I have 200 total packs of twilight masquerade all picked up on release averaging under $1.50 per pack, i think its great especially at that price per pack average spent. Havent opened the set yet and dont plan to, already got the greninja centered mint raw off a seller on ebay for $90 when the set released. Onto the next set!

I have the Carmine and that card is incredible. I can see it as a 125 card all day. If Greninja is around 200 then no reason for Carmine to not be more. To pull a specific SIR from TM is 1/941 making it harder to pull than Giratina V. IMO some of these SIRs are too low. If you been ripping then you would know. Not easy to pull. Maybe 1 in 3 booster boxes.

I like the set more than I orgnally did.
I like greninja from the start, Carmine grew on me (best looking wifu I think) Bloodmoon is cool.
I'm trying hard to like the mask card. I saw a little clip of SV switch game and that help understood the pokemon and ever since then Ive had a different perspective.
With this new specialty Evee set, I still feel like we are waiting for our BIG set to it.
One of my lgs sells ALL S&V bb for $100….except PE they are sold out of.
….another lgs said they will be ordering very little if anymore S&V bb’s if they reprint because they aren’t selling….they still have 8 cases of PR…..
Bought one each of the Japanese boxes as they are so cheap on Amazon Japan right now, hit the SARs of both Perrin and Carmine. Will not be opening any more 😊

Excellent video bro, very good detailed information as always, I think this set is a very good one and after a month some prices have stabilized and some have risen a little, so despite that it is a good option for invest. You are the only creator that actually like twilight. Everyone else is hating so hard on this set. I pulled greninja from a build and battle mini box 4 packs. Love the top chases in this set. FIREE😵💫🔥

Still not a fan of this set but I could see it doing well for investments. Especially if the Rocket and Dragon sets are lackluster

Masquerade are 86$ a booster box you getting ripped off , need to buy a case tho
My local card shop here in the Bay Area in Nor Cal sells booster boxes for $109 plus tax .. it’s the best deal anywhere in my area

I think the Greninja SIR is here to stay. Holding it in person seeing it glimmer in the light, the artwork is just incredible. These TCGplayer scans don’t show you everything about the card and I hate how we get these leaked scans and ppl come to conclusions and boom we are in these weird situation with TWM. Like guys Greninja is a top 10 mon of all time 😂

Been saying since day 1 this set was a banger and people thought i was crazy. Now that the price is up everybody wanna jump on the bandwagon. I wish dirty resellers would stay away from this hobby lol
LET ME PUT YOU ON GAME HOMIE, I bought 4 greninjas at 108.50 and seller still hasn’t sent them. I bought them on July 14th. I saw the same seller sell them the day before and I missed them so when I saw them again I had to cop! Anyways, turns out dude a fraud…I still want the cards but I ended up buying 4 boxes instead. Ignore the dip. Happens in all markets.
Opinion hasn't changed, the set is still lame. I feel like most of these mid SV sets will just get lost between 151 and the Rocket set

This set sucks😑 there’s two maybe three cards to collect. Greninja, infernape, Chansey.
That eevee card and gastly card are extremely weak illustrations.
The eevee looks like it belongs in some old lady’s house and the gastly looks like every other mid tier gastly illustrations.
The supporters are extremely irrelevant. No one played the dlc for scarlet and violet.

It’s summer hype. The greninja is the only card with any real hype and it’s way overpriced right now. And I’m a real firm believer in scarlet and violet. Have been for 7-8 months now.
Greninja is way overpriced, but there’s also hype around Eevee, carmine, and Perrin.
Ogerpon’s are going to stay mid priced for a while due to competitive play, imo
I just don’t see long term for eevee, carmine, and Perrin. The real chase is greninja in my humble opinion.
TM has one of the worst line-up of SIRs in SV. The Greninja is literally the ONLY card people talk about. One card doesn't make a set. TM definitely the FS and LO of SV era. Super overrated just because of 1 single chase card. People would be crazy to say TM is a top 3 SV set.
