I'm also a cuore owner and its been with us for more than a decade. I have always been a fan of these reviews pakwheel's been doing especially the owner reviews. Like always sunil's reviews are great but some of the things regarding the car i wanted to point were that with respect to design, the car is actually good looking with a more curvy look rather than a box shaped mehran. This car handles beautifully, and though my car isnt a power steering it still feels like one and responds greatly to every turn. In terms of mileage i agree its not that good but then again, it always has that power when it comes to performance and gives a certain sense of thrill when driven unlike many cars of its time. There are a few problems with it such as its clutch which needs to be repaired after 1 or 1.5 yr of usage and since there is barely any space in its engine, mechanics usually have to pull out the entire thing for repairs which racks up a high repair cost. Overall its a great car , would recommend it to anyone whose looking for a small, cheap hatchback or even as a first car.

I owned a Daihatsu Cuore 2006 model as a second car for my family from 2009 till 2016 and I must tell you it was a wonderful experience driving it. At times I had even driven it on motorway from Islamabad till Lahore and its performance was amazing. Following are some of its imp features:-
a. I got a fuel economy of around 18 kmpl. on motorway and in city around 12-13 kmpl.
b. AC was good on long drive but was so so in city.
c. Driving was awesome.
d. Spares were easily available in the market.
e. Almost all mechanics had a knowledge of this car.

Review presented in nice way but comparing it with Mehran is totally insane, Cuore was launched few months before Alto was launched and it was a head to head competitor of Alto not Mehran. Cuore was priced as much as twice of Mehran and almost at same price point of Alto, apart from engine capacity there was no similarity between Cuore and Mehran. Manj Sb please share proper facts and information with viewers.

I'm driving cuore as a second car from paat 4 years. No doubt it's better than mehran but at the same time it has one major fault I faced & heard from many people too that it gets heated up with ac oftenly.

It is a request to make a budget car review of SUZUKI KHYBER OR MARGALLA

9-10 & 11-12 can't believe... how you calculated it... I've a cuore n it gives 15 local easily with AC & 17 without AC in urban & on highway it's better than 17. And in CNG it gives 230kms without AC n it got a 40kg cylinder. Now do the maths that how much it do in gas per kg or bar.

Can you share any tips. I change oil at 3000 km with genuine guard filters. I regularly change ngk spark plugs after 15000 km. However I still get 11-12 mileage. I am an aggressive driver though. Any tips.

I have the same car. Mine Daihatsu Cuore is of the same year and has dark blue color. Comfortable and economical . My other car is a Renault Sandero 2017 1.6. but I prefer the Daihatsu.

To answer your question,
I have driven both Daihatsu Cuore and Suzuki Alto (registered 2008 and 2007, respectively) and here's my take over both cars.
Cuore looks more outdated than Alto due to the fact it was produced between 1994-1998 (internationally) while the mentioned generation of Alto is a product of early 2000s. Alto has a positive side of having a resale value but being an end-user it's not too useful.
Daihatsu Cuore on the other hand is much more reliable and durable. Performance-wise, despite having a smaller engine, is superior than Alto. Having a 970cc engine on a Kei car is not a bright idea, since the power-to-size ratio is absurd. Now about driving experience, Cuore has had an upper hand. The drive feels more premium and smoother, and the material quality is much better. Despite having smaller dimensions than Mehran, it has bigger room than Alto - and fuel economy is more despite increased performance. Besides, that car doesn't make you visit frequent trips to a mechanic, compared to Alto.

Good small economical car. I used for six year .good body .good milage 16. 17 on highways. Es ka muqabla mehran se kar k ap coure pyari se gari ki toheeen kar rahe hein.😁

میں اس گاڑی کو 10 سال سے چلا رہا ہوں۔۔۔ اس گاڑی کا ہینڈل سافٹ ہے سیمی پاور لگتا ہے۔۔ اس گاڑی کا ڈبل فریم ہے۔۔ کلچ پلیت جلدی ختم ہو جاتی ہے۔ یہ گاڑی مری وغیرہ کے لیے نہیں ہے۔ فیول ذیادہ کھاتی ہے۔ لیکن آپ اس کو لمبے سفر پر لے جا سکتے ہیں تھکن نہیں ہوگی۔ مہران سے کئ گنا بہتر گاڑی ہے اس کا کمپنی فٹد ایے سی بہترین کام کرتا ہے۔ اس گاڑی کا انجن اور پارٹس مہران سے کئ گنا بہتر اور اچھی کوالٹی کے ہیں۔

Sir according to my little knowledge. CNG would give you ALOT of economic advantage in terms of fuel consumption. But in the long run, it would ruin your engine.

کوری مہران سے کئی گنا زیادہ طاقتور اور اچھی گاڑی ہے ، چاہے اس کی سسپینشن ہو، یا باڈی مٹیریل ہو پاور اسٹیرنگ وغیرہ کے اعتبار سے ۔ پرانی کورے بھی 120 اسپیڈ پر اچھی چلتی ہے جبکہ نئی مہران سو اسپیڈ کے بعد کانپنا شروع کرتی ہے ۔

this time no background music and overall good camera work but what used to be there, wasnt there, due to absence of background music, surrounding air noise was more noticeable otherwise on point everything, forgot to mention cabin quietness, should have compared that todays mehran is missing two ac vents which were present in older mehran, and AC in mehran is still pathetic with fuel mileage like corolla altis, I mean new mehran gives around 18 for a year and then drops down to 12 without ac,

Core car ki details ap say bht achi milli hay.
I had a Cuore for a long time. I bought it brand new and drove it for quite some time. A few things in favor of Cuore:
1. It had Kenwood audio cassette player, which felt pretty high quality
2. It had a total of 4 air vents. 2 extra on the driver and passenger sides compared to Mehran
3. The front passenger and driver seats felt like having ample space and leg room which made it way superior than the khataara Mehran
4. The meter and dashboard felt like good quality
5. The doors, seats, handles etc felt way superior over the cheap Suzuki
After owning Cuore I shifted to a new Suzuki Alto. Now even though Alto had a 1000cc engine compared to 850cc in Cuore, I never enjoyed driving Alto and missed Cuore a lot. So 10 out of 10 times I would prefer a Cuore over a Mehran or even the Alto.

Suneel bhai i have cuore 2007 . Its fuel average is very low. Parts are not expensive. They are easily available and are cheap. But only bad thing about car is fuel average
